“At first glance, the building didn’t look very inviting from the ouside. We actually thought it might be vacant. Stepping inside, we were greeted by a beautiful, tall wooden staircase that immediately set the tone for the rest of our stay.
Our room took us by surprise as well. The red brick accent wall, antique charm, and subtle modern touches created a warm and stylish atmosphere. It was spacious, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was equally impressive—clean, roomy, and comfortable.
The only downside was the showerhead. While the water pressure was excellent, the older, non-adjustable fixture sprayed a harsh mist that soaked the bathroom floor. It definitely needs to be replaced.
Although there wasn’t on-site staff, communication was seamless. They responded quickly to all my text inquiries and made sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be staying here again.”
“What a great place with an amazing view of the Mississippi. Older motel. My room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and blankets were thick and warm. The owner was super. I hope to see her again soon. The Pierre restaurant next door is in walking distance. Great food and great locals.”
