UPDATED: STRANDED on Hwy 50, car failed.Fennewald's has _always _ had a sterling reputation. It came highly recommended for many years. I liked this place. This unprofessional, unethical episode is a glitch, but shop has not sought resolution.1. Botched repair.2. Caused damage.3. Refused rental car.4. Will not answer calls.5. Issues, concerns *not addressed.6. Car returned *worse condition.7. Car BROKE DOWN Hwy 50, 11 pm. A. Loud pop B. Smoke C. Violent shaking D. No acceleration, control. E. Less than 50 miles out of shopNarrative of Events:First, unable to get part so family brought car home. Days later, shop called saying part delivered. Car returned to shop, where is was disassembled. Part was *not available after all.One week later, part is available but DISMANTLED CAR PARTS DAMAGED.Week's wait time while parts shipped from KC.Calls to shop go unanswered until *67 blocked phone number.Now 2 weeks for an afternoon's repair. Into 3rd week: shop called, saying pick up the car. *Issues not fixed. *Concerns not addressed. *Over $700 for gasket replacementCar returned in unsafe condition.It broke down on HWY 50 ...LESS THAN 50 MILES LATER.NOTE: Suspect original negative review resulted in car being returned in unsafe condition, without repairs

Took my truck there for a new muffler and catalytic convertor. They got in it when they said they would and did a great job. Curtis even took time to text a few days after I took my truck home to make sure there were no issues. Definitely give them a call you'll be glad you did.
