I contacted James Country. The lady who I spoke with was rude hateful. They treated myself and my wife awfully. It's sad because I have bought quite a few things from them over the years.

Read the older reviews! I am experiencing the same poor customer service. I have called at least three times, left messages and actually spoken to someone. I have emailed. I cannot get confirmation of an order for a pattern. I guess it is just too much trouble to say they don't really have the pattern rather than update their website.

I use them for FFL weapon transfers. When the weapon comes in you get an immediate phone call. Their charge for the transaction is $20.00. It's all straight forward. These folks are patriots and should be supported. They offer civil war period clothing and other things for anyone interested.

I really enjoyed my visit. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable and they have great quality clothing and gear. I really enjoyed the conversations and learned a lot.

I have ordered several things from them in the past with great results, but I put in an order back in June for a shirt, and have not heard anything other than "they are working on it" or "it's on the table". It is now October 5th and still no shirt, as I said I've always had great results in the past but now not so much. Hopefully this changes soon, or I will have to take my business somewhere else.

Got my dress and apron over 6 years ago from James Country Mercantile. I worked as a historic interpreter for Clay County Historic Sites at the time and wanted my own dress. Extremely comfortable & gets so many compliments every time I wear it Quality product!

I've used them several times for FFL shipments. This last time I had 3 identical items shipped, one box, one form, one phone call, but 3X the FFL fee. Just be warned. Other FFL's I've used (and will use in the future) have one price for the first item and then 50% or more discount on each additional item. One call. One form. One box. 3x the fee.
