I had a pickup order 2 days in a row at the Lee's Summit Walmart and Finley was professional each time. Sometimes the expectation of employees at Walmart is nonexistent but I witnessed this young man maintaining his cool in 95° weather while customers were sitting outside their cars waiting on their order. Someone even asked him if he was the only one working and he responded nicely and kept working.
Today, he offered to give me a different case of strawberries because some had fell out of the case. These small gestures make an impact and I definitely appreciated it.
I've been to this Walmart hundreds of times but felt the need to acknowledge this employee when I'm sure he gets a myriad of unfavorable personalities on a daily. Thank you Finley!

Lousy customer service. One of the managers that has short blonde hair and thick black eyeliner, refused to go to the money center and help customers while her employee took their lunch break. Was very rude. She should be fired … or at least not be in a management position since she doesn’t know how to be a team player.

I am giving it a 4 star rating just because they haven't gone back to being 24/7.
Walmart is a quality place to go for general health, lifestyle, sports, automotive products and services and can most-generally rely on okay-to-decent quality in tools, toys for infants to pre-teens, kitchen equipment, and outdoor supplies.
The real reason for this post altogether is the money center opens on the hours presented on Google, except on Sundays they open at 10. I walked around 4.5 miles relying on it being open at 6, got there at 7, and found out that I will end up wasting roughly 2 hours of my day because of this.
Stay munificent fellow humans!
Update: I have tried calling this walmart's Customer Service several times a day for the last couple days, at first Customer Service never pucked up the phone. I've called 5 times today, the operator didn't answer 4, so I had to have another department transfer me just for them not to answer. Answer your phones!! There's no reason a phone should be ringing for 5 minutes to no avail.

Horrible customer service. I went to the customer service area and was told to wait a little bit until an associate came to assist. Meanwhile, as I stood there, the associate that it turns out I was waiting on was standing there joking with other employees and talking to her husband (who does not appear to work there) about what was for "dinner" and what to grocery shop for. Ok cool, the lady needed a quick break, well this is where my visit to this Wal-Mart turned sour. I was trying to return a pack of baby onesies ($8) and a un-used oil filter. I had the purchasing card for the onesies but nothing for the oil filter (I paid cash). The CS agent told me she could only return the $8 bucks to my card as oppose to handing me cash and would not accept the oil filter because it was assumed to be over $10 (she never checked the price...but it was over $10) while never checking. On top of everything above, the attitude of the lady seemed a little bit off for a customer facing CS agent. I informed the lady to remove all items and don't worry about any returns. I then went to the other Wal-Mart in LS, completely different story. 1st off, the CS agent at the Market St. location was a completely 180 degree turn from what I had just experienced. The CS agent at the Market St. location was patient, helpful (without any distractions) and able to complete all request as I had wanted. Long story short, I was able to get cash for the baby onesies ($8) and also able to return the oil filter for store credit.
I will never go back to the Wal-Mart on Sam Walton!!!! Not sure who is running that store but they need to either hire some more quilified people or included some intense training for those who are customer facing.
Way to go Wal-Mart on Market St. you are heads and shoulders ahead/better than the OTHER Wal-Mart in LS.

Fitting room attendants extremely rude. Two locked fitting rooms, with the other 2 occupied. Attendant told me we had to wait. I started knocking on doors and was told "no one's in those but their locked and I don't have the key". Then all of a sudden the other attendant did have the key. They still didn't unlock the 4th empty dressing room and other people were waiting. Makes no sense.

Love this Walmart, shop there regularly. However this morning the between the loud music and some underlying machine noise the noise was unbearable. Left quickly and did not finish shopping. Never been this way before. Please walk through your store and check it out.

Walked in the door and there were two people screaming and yelling at eachother. Wal Mart staff just watched and didn't get involved.

Worst customer service ice ever experienced in retail. My wife got her oil changes (not at walmart) and was told her batter wasn't holding a charge. Battery was purchased at Walmart and still under warranty. Next day went to move her vehicle and battery was dead and needed jumped. So I rushed up to Walmart to see if they could test it. It was about 10 mins before close so I understood when the kid behind the counter asked me to come back in the morning. I showed up at 7:20am there were 2 cars in bays. I had to look for someone at the counter. He seemed more interested in stocking the shelf then helping. When I told him I just wanted to test it he proceeded to just take all my info and tell me "we'll get to it". I asked if he could just hook the voltage meter up and tell me if it's good or bad. He said their are people in front of me. Went across the street to auto zone... Less than 2 minutes employee was extremely polite and answered my question. I never asked for them to push off those other cars. The test takes 2 seconds. I could have made an appointment and come back.
