The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I came in due to the post office on line telling me they would not forward my address cause they wanted more proof and I need to go to the post office. Come in to this Lee summit post office and this lady is literally the most disrespectful person I have ever talked to in my life and I am in customer service. No wonder this place is 1.5 stars. She tells me she can’t look anything up if I don’t have a barcode she can’t help me how pointless it is to do another change of address it will not work 0 help 0 customer service 0 humanizing skills. Don’t come here go else where. This place would have 0 stars if that was an option.

I went to this location two days a row and spoke to a supervisor named Holly. I had a package expected to be delivered on 2/15, and I attempted to file a claim online after it was over a week late and had not moved from the local transfer facility. For some reason, the website or app is having issues, and it says that I must wait until after 2/15 to be able to file a missing/late claim, but the option is greyed out even though I was a week past the 15th. So, I went to the post office on 2/21. On day 1, Holly said she would reach out to the local facility that has held packages for 13 days and has had no activity and let me know what she finds out. She takes my contact information, and I don't hear back from her with any update, good/bad, so that I will return the next day.She did not speak to anyone or call back as she had promised. She told me I had to wait 30 days of "no activity" to file a claim and that there was nothing she could do other than let me know if the tracking number updates again…. I asked why it said I could file a dispute/claim, and she told me she was unsure and told me to return in a month.I called the generic USPS phone number, claimed my own with a 20-minute call, and was able to file a missing item/claim. I find it hard to believe the phone number can file a claim faster than the local branch supervisor. What is the point of a supervisor not being willing to help and giving wrong information? On both days, there was no line, nobody was waiting behind me, and there was no visible competing priority outside of a paying customer needing help.I am very irritated at the lack of customer service from this location. I highly encourage driving the extra distance to the Pleasant Hill office if you need more service than buying stamps or dropping off a package!The staff at the desks that were not the supervisor was very friendly and helpful. I hope one day they can get promoted and Holly will no longer take customer escalations.

Made and appointment online for 8am passport application, came in at 8 and was rudely told passport appointments don’t start until 8:30, when i tried to explain that i made the appointment online for 8am (as that was an option online and was confirmed as well at 8am) I was cut off by the girl working the front desk and told she would go get her supervisor. The Supervisor, also a woman, was evmore condescending repeating they don’t do appointments until 8:30. When I asked why I was allowed to make an appointment online for 8:00am she to repeat the same thing over and over about 8:30 being the only option and to reschedule. I asked how I could know that this time when rescheduling the appointment would be at the correct time she basically told me not her problem- she doesn’t control the website. HORRIBLE, extremely rude and condescending customer service from them both.

After waiting a week for our passport appointment they called us 30min before our appointment and cancelled and told us we are better off walking in at a different location. Avoid this location!

These USPS employees are very rude, angry, quarrelsome, constantly angry, and have an attitude like they are beating people while talking.They lost my package 3 times too and it was never found. Shame on them.! I sell plants, once they took the plant out of the box and threw it away, only sending the empty box.!Because we had an argument before when getting the children's passports done. That's why she took the plant away and sent the empathy box.Isn't there anyone who cares about them? This is too much.! Why do they work like this?Other USPS employees are not like this and I have never lost any packages there!

I had an appointment for my daughter to get her passport today and instead of them calling me to tell me the appointment was canceled, I had to find out by driving there. Then they decided to call me on my way home to tell me it was canceled. It would’ve been nice to get that call before 8:45am.

The most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to. A guy showing the counter lady videos and such to watch on his phone as she’s helping a customer?? And there’s 20 more to help? Get it together. This is our tax dollars at work for us. Despicable

Krystal was very helpful in getting passports for my family of 4! She was very knowledgeable and friendly and able to get our applications, payment, and photos completed efficiently.I think the biggest thing for anyone getting a passport, is making sure you are bringing all required documents to ensure a smooth process (similar to the DMV).

Passport woman is rude and cold when there’s no need for it! If you don’t like your job, get a new one! Not that they care but I will never do business with them again.

As a building funding by tax payers this is bad google review in our community…Kelli was very professional both days I been there greet with a beautiful smile and very friendly greet and Megan I apologize if I spell her name wrong but she did not perform her duty as public expectation no smile and the tone of her voice is is very rude…first day I walk in Megan was resting her elbows on the counter on her personal phone…as a public tax payer paying these public workers that’s not cool…us tax payers have every right to ask questions about our public servants and ask for their names if bad/good service is provided…bad service need hold accountable and good service need to be recognized…hope postal master see this and every other complaints and follow up with his staff…if not I will flood that people’s building with member of press with cameras in their face (side note: that is us we are the public member of the press 1st amendment) we have the right to record our government employee…please it does not take much to smile and greet people that pay your paycheck with respect and love

This post office is supposed to close AT 5 pm....got there at 4:45, and they already had the gate partially closed! I entered past the gate to look at the envelopes, and the lady behind the counter made it clear that they were, in fact closed and they were not going to help anyone else (she listed a bunch of EXCUSES why). Rude, rude, rude!!

This has been our local post office for over a decade- they know what they are doing- helpful and friendly!Kristal especially- really knows her stuff- I've witnessed her handle very tough customers and with lots of pressure on her, and she is always professional and knowledgeable! Thank you for being awesome!

One of the ladies behind the counter is extremely rude. I don't usually write negative reviews, I give the benefit of the doubt, but not this time. And it hasn't been the first time either that I've experienced the same woman's attitude. I honestly would rather go to Raytown or Blue Springs post office at this point. I'm sure a fair amount of people with the same issue know the individual(s) I speak of. Please do better.
