We only had the pleasure of staying one evening but Cynthia and Kevin were incredible. Their home is beautiful, the location perfect for where we planned to venture to on our stay. We enjoyed an incredible breakfast prepared by Cynthia along with great conversation! We loved getting to know them and cannot wait to come back and stay in the future!

Had a great 3 day weekend for my best friends birthday. Cynthia and Kevin are terrific hosts who really made our stay special. Cynthia's passion for feeding people comes through in every meal, from breakfast each morning to the personalized charcuterie board for our game night. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location is so handy to walk to many shops, bar/restaurants and events. We had a Jazz Festival less than a block away!

My wife and I stayed here overnight for my her birthday. Kevin and Cynthia are such cool people. Cynthia is an AMAZING chef and makes a great breakfast. Kevin has some great stories and very witty jokes. The house was like being in a movie. What I pictured an Air B and B to be. It is so close to down town Lees Summit. Lees Summit has so much to go experience and when we were there, they had an Art Walk going on.

Amazing breakfast! Best parfait i ever had. Great eggs benedict. Even came with dessert. Room was really nice and bed was very comfortable. Hosts were very gracious and friendly. 1 minute walk to downtown. Great place to stay!

We stayed in the Queen room for 3 nights in February. It was our first time at a B&B and we are so glad we stayed here. Our room was everything we needed, and the food was phenomenal! We loved having our breakfast catered to our tastes and even some of the sweet little extras that made it memorable, like an apple tart and chocolate torte. Cynthia and Kevin were warm and welcoming. We especially enjoyed sharing adventures and stories over breakfast. "Weir everywhere!"
We know without a doubt that we will be back for future visits and we have encouraged our area friends to try a group dinner for a taste of perfection.

Rooms: Our Queen room had a closet, dresser, makeup desk, chair, and TV. 2 windows for lovely natural light. Overhead fan and space heater made for perfect room conditions.
Safety: Neighborhood felt safe. Driveway was one way which helped the coziness feel.
Food & drinks: Cynthia can cater to any dietary needs or preferences. She has a highly extensive background. Everything we tasted we thoroughly enjoyed.
Noteworthy details: Make time to sit and enjoy breakfast. It is so worth every bite and an absolute highlight to the stay.

My husband and I are so grateful we chose the Browning Guest House for our overnight in Lee’s Summit. We took Amtrak so were without a car. The location can’t be beat for walking or biking to the numerous shops and restaurants in the historic core.The bed was fabulous! Both my husband and I had a great sleep.Finally, breakfast was an experience to be remembered. When choosing the Browning we had no idea that in an earlier career, our hostess was a chef and caterer for famous musicians and other glitterati.We are still in awe over the gluten-free biscuits and cashew gravy she created.Thank you, Cynthia & Kevin! We loved our time at the Browning and with you.

Cynthia and Kevin were wonderful hosts! We felt so welcome in their beautiful, warm home. It was a few minute walk to downtown. They are so accommodating and had great recommendations for local spots to visit. She prepared a breakfast for us that made us feel like queens! Delicious! We will definitely visit again! thank you! ?️?

Amazing! Awesome! Comfortable! Peaceful!All these words describe this place perfectly! You won't find a better place close that is walking distance to everything and with better host and hostess! Our stay was nothing short of terrific and we highly recommend this location to others!!

Phenomenal B&B experience. Cynthia is a gracious and welcoming host. The location is PERFECT-walking distance of Lee’s Summits cute downtown. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the space was pristine/clean. The breakfast was delicious-Quiche, crepes, bacon, and more! The decor is adorable and cozy. Highly recommend and will be back!

This is a lovely B&B! It is a beautiful home with lovely decor. But what makes it truly special are the hosts, Cynthia and Kevin. Cynthia is a very, very gifted cook! The breakfasts alone would be worth staying here. This is very near the Amtrak station. We arrived on the train & walked the 2 blocks to their home & then did a day of walking around Lee’s Summit sightseeing & took the train back. A very nice short getaway. We will be back.

Truly such an awesome experience! I stayed here the night before my wedding with all of my bridesmaids and got ready in the sun room! Cynthia was so accommodating, kind, and eager to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and relaxing, the food was absolutely delicious and all around it was an amazing way to start my wedding day. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I would highly recommend it!

What a charming Bed and Breakfast! Very comfortable accommodations. Expertly prepared, delicious foods with great presentations and interesting flavors. Cynthia is a five star chef!I had a hectic schedule, during my 5 night stay, and yet every effort was made to meet that schedule and make my stay enjoyable. Cynthia and Kevin are warm and generous hosts! I found two new friends!

I can't say enough about this beautiful home and the graciousness of Cynthia and Kevin. We had a truly wonderful experience - the rooms were incredibly comfortable and beautiful and spending time with Cynthia and Kevin was an added bonus. The perfect hosts! And, the food was simply AMAZING! We look forward to coming again.
