Worked here some years ago when it was still called mayflower, rudest boss I ever had, I called in because I had a flat tire and then he chewed me out and hung up the phone on me, I lived with 5 other people and could back my story up and even had proof I went to the junkyard to get another tire now that I'm much older I have learned real fast not work for a company that has such a rude incompetent boss that doesn't even let me get a word in edge wise and is such a tough guy to chew employees out over the phone and not face to face, also a lot of other employees act like they are tough guys and try to micro manage, even though they only work 8 hours a day and move furniture, plz that's nothing compared to what I've done, try 12 hours a day 5 days a week, moving car parts and I don't act rude, this place is a joke

Thanks for their great help. My agent Steve gave me detailed onsite quote. Wendy provided excellent support for document preparation. Driver Joseph did professional loading and unloading. Thanks again to this team.

outstanding - Studdard is the best - they do what they say they will do + more! Trustworthy, honorable people; this can be a rare thing these days! We would engage them to move our household every time we can

I used Studdard Relocation Services for their POD service. The delivery of the POD was fine, but once it came time to have it delivered to my new home I had issues. I called about 2 weeks before the delivery date that I needed and asked them if it could be delivered first thing in the morning (i was paying a different company by the hour to load up my storage unit and needed the POD at the new place) and they said yes. While I was waiting at the my storage unit I called Studdard around 11:00 am to make sure my POD had been delivered and they told me no. The guy I talked to said he would try and get a driver to deliver it. It did not end up showing up until about 1:00 pm. While the driver was unloading the POD he ran it off of the edge of my drive way and procedded to try and drag the fully loaded POD back on the truck. The only thing this did was damage my driveway (brand new house I had not even owned 24 hrs). I suggested waiting until the POD was unloaded so that it would be easier to move. The driver told me that the company would "make it right". The next day they sent out one person to try and get the POD back up on the driveway. He didn't bring any tools with him to help get the job done and called the company to send someone (50 mins) to my house to help him. I did not have time to wait because the company that was laying sod in my yard was already starting so I used my car jack and did it for him. The following day I called them to see how they were going to "make it right" and the manager said he would get back with me. two more days went by and I still had not heard from him. I called again and he asked to text him pics of the damage. He told me he would get back with me that day and even sent a follow up text to make sure he got the pics and received no response. I called the following day and talked to the manager again and he told me that he was going to try and make a few calls to get someone out to look at it. I called back six days later and he told me he still had a few calls out, but he would "get me squared away". seven days later I called and asked for the manager and was told he was busy. I asked if I could leave a message and he said yes, but cut me off half way through saying "ok he will call you". I had not given my name and I called from work so I know the number only showed up with the area code, so I know he did not know who or what number to call. That same day I called a different location and was able to talk to the first managers manager. He was helpful and got me an insurance claim number within two days, and the insurance company called a couple days later. She told me that she would get back with me. Almost a month later I called the insurance company to check on the claim and she said that she was still waiting on the drivers statement. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Studdard did an outstanding job of moving my wife and me from Orlando to Colorado. Everything arrived on time and in good order. Would definitely use them again. The driver Chris was especially helpful.

Incompetent and crooked about sums it up. The team arrived and delivered on time, but they failed to blanket wrap two large pieces of furniture that were destroyed, one item was brand new. Also, whenever you move, some items are damaged, that's a given. We purchased full value insurance from them to cover this. After the move, we submitted our damage claims. The company had a 3rd party inspector come out to inspect, and he provided a quote to repair the damaged items, and recommended replacing the destroyed items. The Company offered less than 50% of the claim as settlement. This company should not be permitted to continue doing business as they are dishonest and disreputable.

I was extremely anxious about having to move again as our last experience was, to say the least, very unprofessional, unpleasant and overly costly. After interviewing several companies we finally decided upon Mayflower Moving and Storage, the rep arrived on time, answered all our questions and over compensated to make us feel comfortable about our upcoming move. The day the packers arrived they were on time, professional and courteous. What I appreciated most was rather than just packing items into the boxes we started with a tour of the home and they asked me if there were any special instructions or requests. There were a few hiccups throughout the day but overall it went quite smoothly. They carefully wrapped and loaded all items and we did a final walk through to make sure nothing was missed. Upon arrival at the new location the driver was courteous and very attentive. There was a local crew available to assist in the unpacking, the driver took command and made sure everything was handled gently and placed in the correct rooms. As they finished up, we did a final walk through looking for damages to our home or possessions by the movers. NOTHING was missing and only 2 items showed signs of slight damage. Anytime you move across several states things are bound to happen, items shift, bumps in the road and the heat subjected to items especially in the summer months can affect property. Thank you Studdard and Mayflower for making this an easy transition.

I recently had Studdard move me to my new home in Lake Winnebago. The move was a two part move... first to an apartment and storage of the bulk of my possessions and then to our new home a few months later.First, the good. The move from the apartment to our final home was very good. The staff professional and courteous. No complaints at all... as a matter of fact if the first part had gone as well as the second part, this review would be dramatically different.Second, the bad. To start, they "forgot me" and didn't show up on moving day. After repeatedly calling, they did show up eventually and apologized. The problem beyond that you ask? The crew they sent was inexperienced and extremely non professional. The problems ranged from them simply dumping drawers upside down into boxes (after they had told me to leave dresser drawers full) to significant damage to my possessions.I own several custom made pieces of furniture that had minor damage (scratches and dings) and to be honest, I could have almost lived with that. I have moved myself multiple time and never had the problem... buy I am a reasonable guy. However, one piece in particular was absolutely destroyed. The took a very large desk and hutch and lost pieces of trim, large dents and scratches and completely ruined a $3,000 piece of furniture. It traces back to the crew I was assigned not knowing how to properly load out the heavier pieces. They had placed something of significant weight on the desk and large indentions were all over the face of the desk and as a result ... fairly useless (who wants a desk you cant write on because of the multiple large dents in the surface?) I reported the incident... and was given the standard company line. I got a check yesterday for about $500 for my loss. I get it... you have policy and standard procedure... but these were beyond standard issues. The part that is leading me to write this was the letter... the "we're sorry... but not really because this is our policy". There were other issues like me having to go back to the house and load my entire truck with things they "forgot"... and in their defense they did provide some extra folks at move in to speed up the process to try to make amends. However, the lack of attention to detail and the pseudo apology pushed me over the edge.I could have used a different local company for less and was told by a close friend to give this company a try. He was just as embarrassed as I was disappointed. In a nutshell... try another company. If you get their "A" team... they are great... if not, prepare to buy the "super duper extra special extra money insurance policy" policy because you will need it.DOUBLE THUMBS DOWN
