How do they get away with charging 60 dollars for a tee time? So many nicer courses in the area around the 40-50 price point. This course lacks amenities too! Limited flight driving range, no cart staff and the place is a swamp if it rained within the last 3 days. Overall, I would avoid playing here for that much money. 2 stars because I USED to play here around 40 bucks and that was reasonable.

Your prices are kinda ridiculous. I paid 60 dollars to play at 2:30 on a Sunday. That's a little much when some of the better course aren't that much at that time. Also could golf courses spread out their tee times a little more. 8 to 9 minutes apart is not far enough apart. Especially when you don't monitor your course and your marshall does nothing bit check out carts. Do better guys

Very bad experience.. they knew they had tournament still they took our reservation and wouldn’t let us play 18 holes.. they made us play 9 twice and gave us a suggestion to not come again

Great little country course, awesome conditions, the friendliest staff and good senior/veteran rates. That being said, and I don’t fault this course for any of the following.All of us were playing this track for the first time. Keeping pace and waiting on nearly every tee box for the groups in front of us, we continued to be interfered with by the group following. One individual in particular would pull up on us while we were addressing our shots. Then having an issue when we would back off and await his impatience. The round was finished in a sub four hours time. A little slow for our normal pace of 3 1/2 hours, but acceptable. Once in the clubhouse, following the round, this same impatient player showed his true colors by berating the young lady behind the counter with his abusive language. Once again great course, worth the money, just a sour taste from the ignorant individual that needs to learn how to dress for golf. (Sport shorts and blue tee shirt)

Shamrock has the best women's tournament around, especially for the money. Everyone is so super friendly and it is very organized. The course is in the best shape that I have seen it. It's challenging yet fun!

DO NOT GO HERE IF GOLFING AS OR WITH BEGINNERS.Brought a couple beginner golfers with us to the course but that seemed to be a mistake. We gladly let other golfers tee off before us throughout the course as we didn’t want to hold everyone up and they were super kind, telling us to have a good time. However, there was a particular group of golfers who came up behind us and were EXTREMELY disrespectful in every way imaginable. We were hurried along by the course marshall and even had to skip a hole since the golfers behind us refused to play through and go past us. As equal paying customers, this shameful behavior does not go unnoticed. There are plenty other golf courses in the area more welcoming to those beginner golfers out there.

Do not, and I repeat DO NOT, go there should you be a beginner. Booking two tee times, starting separately, and performing in a scramble apparently wasn’t enough. We ended up ‘congesting the course’ despite allowing 5 other golfing groups go through as one does when you’re a slower golfer. There are many other friendlier golf courses. To those 5 groups- thank you for your kind words and we did have a good time until one person wanted to complain instead of coming up to us. We could’ve taken WAY longer had we not been doing a scramble, but we didn’t because we know we’re not good. We’ll stick with Fred Arbanas.

Expensive, for no reason nothing special and if your very lucky u might not get paired with a couple strangers.. the course was unclean and most greens were dirty too... not worth the price.. friendly workers though
