Terrible place to store your things since my unit was broke into, locks were cut a part in order to break-in my actual unit I have been renting out since 9/5/2023. My unit had many things broken during the break-in and valueables, keepsakes, and personal items were stolen straight out of unit number 116. Would never choose to rent from this place and the company even had the nerve to inform and explain to me that not all their servalance cameras were/are operating and also that their venders hadn't been able to fix any cameras that were down or not running like they should be. If you don't mind your things to be taken and destroyed by whoever has the time to be doing this and getting away with it then this would be a great facility to store your children's items, your familie's household items and valuables, keepsakes you can't see again. The units and facility had several items belonging to someone else laying around the facility grounds and those items approached immediately following after my unit was broken into. It is not a safe environment to store your things nor is it a well maintained facility with things such as bean bags, and bags of shoes, lamps, and other household items hanging around in the facilitie's property.

I've conducted business with several storage facilities in the area and i've always found Red Dot associates to be friendly and knowledgable of all. It's like talking to someone you've known for years.

Not very nice people kicked a few people out for stupid reasons after given thousands of dollars to them. Wasn't trying to hear reasons why just get out and you only got an hour to do so. The gate to their units was broken for months so they increased your insurance and let it go for a while not getting fixed. They increase your rent every month if not every other month. And if they ever say first month for $1 expect at the very least $30 no where near $1!

I only chose one star because you can't choose zero stars . I would NOT recommend renting any units here to ANYONE. I paid over $4000 in 3 years to these inconsiderate ,fake,just terrible people. I did nothing wrong - and they gave me one hour to move out 2 units! That's not possible. I did nothing but pay my bill pretty close to on time for three years and that's how they treat paying customers! Just be aware- crooked people are everywhere ! Especially at Red dot in lee's summit. I would deny renting here rather than recommend to ANYONE for sure ! And they raised rent three times in a year while their gate was obviously broke for a while year! Who does that! As much money as we pay- and you can't protect our whole lives that are packed up from being stolen or secure ???I'm glad I had to go.

Horrible facility …1200 Sloan in Lees Summit MO. Had my unit broken into, $1000’s of my tools stolen. Found out by showing up tonite. Their gate was broken for months, anyone can come and go. Lees Summit Police tell me weekly units are broken into. DO NOT RENT STORAGE AT THIS FACILITY.

Horrible place to store your items. My unit was broken into and about $15k worth of stuff was stolen. Supposedly they had no footage of the crime. The gate here is literally ALWAYS open. No one works in the office so if you have issues you have to call a call center somewhere random in the country. Security is awful and they are no help when items get broken into. I asked if they had break ins before mine and they said they have had a handful all year. Stay away from here. I even know who broke into mine but have no evidence to prosecute them.

The gate keypad to get in needs to be replaced as it took 6 tries to get it to open the gate when we went. Otherwise this facility is nice.

Storage unit got broken into and they didn't bother to contact us and let us know. We had to discover it ourselves. I have also been trying to transfer the management of this unit to my coworker for months. Today I found after I thought it was transferred that they had charged me again. No invoice, no receipt, just a charge. I emailed them the tenant change form a 3rd time asking why. Waiting for follow up. They couldn't get it done the first two times we sent it and this has been going on for many months. Avoid this place.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and easy of use for the items that I needed stored temporally. I asked Jason Turner at Red Dot about the availability for another unit that I will need. He showed me the different sizes and was knowledgeable of what was available. He was very helpful and polite. I would use Red Dot again if needed in the future!

I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere…but this one is way overdue. If you want peace of mind, any sense of convenience and/or security, then steer completely clear of this location until further notice.Since Red Dot has taken over this facility my wife and I (and other we’ve talked with) experience continual frustration upon nearly every visit. It’s like the setting of a bad Sundance movie.
