Golden Paws Grooming & Boarding

I mentioned that my dog had anxiety in the crate and to see if they could be quick with her because of this. The gal at the front desk held her in her lap while I left. I obviously don’t expect this all the time, but I loved seeing how sweet she was with my pup! I truly felt she was in great hands. I will definitely be coming back!

Strothertowne Vet Hospital
651 SE Bailey Rd, Lee's SummitThis was my first visit to this vet My cat was very sick and had been throwing up a lot. My old vet had retired and I wasn't sure where to go so I brought him to Strothertowne. They took such good care of him and made sure he was completely healed before they sent him home. He came home today and he is his old self and feeling great running around like a maniac as usual. I can't say enough good things about Dr Stidley and the entire staff at Strothertowne. They are all so kind and caring and kept me informed and updated on his condition the whole time. IWe will be regular clientz there from now on.

450 SW Longview Blvd, Lee's SummitThis vet location is highly recommended! We brought in our KC Pet Project adopted dog named Titus for 1st time checkup and to figure out a good diet plan. Poor Titus rarely ate his meals and had such inconsistent stools which most were runny :/ Our doctor provided probiotics and medcine to help with the digestion issue and improvements were noticed within the next day and forward. We were also educated on diet and items to add more fiber, like pumpkin, which he loves and helps with not relying on the probiotic anymore. Titus is now eating much healthier and handles new foods, like carrots, apple slices, cooked un-seasoned chicken very well. As they say, you have to trust the experts and that is what we did. We'll continue to take Titus here for the next upcoming appointments and won't hesitate to ask any questions. Thank you all again for your friendliness and taking such good care of our puppy!

We were schedule promptly and our dog's issues were treated very quickly. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. Dr. Sisler did a great job explaining our options and the reasons for treatment. We cannot recommend them more highly.

I have been taking them to a vet 30+ min away before this for years to try and treat allergies and they never solved the problem. Within 2 visits seeing this place, my dog is feeling much better. I can’t thank them enough!!! And prices are very reasonable.

Raintree Animal Animal Hospital
3820 SW Ward Rd, Lee's SummitMoved to the area and needed a new Vet. Did a lot of research and inquiring from others in the area. Neighbors recommended Raintree so I decided on Raintree and I was very pleased and happy.
My 12.5 yo Chihuahua (Artic) needed vaccinations and dental care. The Support staff and Dr. Chambers were very nice, thorough, experienced and explained how they would take great care of Artic. The team took their time to ensure I was comfortable, upfront on costs and took great care of Artic. Artic was well taken care of and recovered quickly after 2 teeth extractions and his teeth are very clean and white!
Very happy and highly recommend Raintree.

? There is plenty of free parking next to the restaurant. It’s across from the train tracks. You can see the Amtrak trains pass by. Amtrack has an active station within walking distance from Konrad’s.
? Inside Konrad’s the place is very clean. On Friday nights they have free live music.
? The food is excellent. I didn’t take photos because I ate it so fast. I wanted the bbq pork nachos but they took it off the menu since I left Kansas City. I got the quesadillas. And my favorite German draft beer to go along with it. I actually called from Portland earlier this year to ask what the name of the German beer was they sold. I found it in Portland at a specialty liquor store.
? Dogs are allowed in. The day I was here, a huge dog was on the patio. Dog was very well behaved.
? I had my niece college graduation party here years ago. Konrad’s was very accommodating to the cake I brought in. The out of state guests liked how relaxed and friendly Konrad’s was. Plus the outside when you are done eating, you can walk around and there is plenty to do.
? The day I went to Konrad’s there was a free concert playing and an Art fair going on. The area around the restaurant is maintained well which encourages one to stay and check out the rest of the area.
??? I can’t love this establishment enough. I moved away from the area, but it’s nice to know, you can always go home and get the same level of hospitality as and you left.
Konrad’s is located off the Main Street area in Lees Summit. It’s easy to get too. And you will want to stay after you eat to check out the area.
I love exploring Main streets and it’s refreshing it’s still thriving and going strong.
Parking: I have never had a problem finding safe parking at Konrad’s. You don’t pay for parking in the area of town it’s located in either.
