Pearl vision was a great experience, compared to where I used to go they treated me alot better did alot more vision checks, I highly recommend this group in lees summit

When I sat down to have my eyes examined I asked the doctor if she would wear a mask. I wear one because I have a family member who is immuno-compromised and I can't risk unnecessary exposure. The she refused. I asked twice, two different ways and both times refused. So, I got up and left. I don't think it was too much to ask and this is the first time someone has refused. Most people are fine with it and have a good attitude. Not this doctor. This ends any future dealings with Pearle Vision.

Friendly office and professional. Dr. Ballard was very informative plus gave me options for contacts. I am near sighted and far sighted. I thought there would be know way I would be able to have that option. It appears I was incorrect.I would recommend the office off of 291 in Lee's Summit, MO. They will get you taken care of.

Both Dr.Ballard and Linda the Optical Mgr could not have been nicer. Both very knowledgeable as well as very welcoming to me as it was my first visit to Pearle Vision.

I've been using Pearl optical (formerly Sears optical) for almost a decade and wouldn't go anywhere else. All of the staff are amazing and I highly recommend. Heather always helps me with picking cute and well fitting glasses!

Went in for an eye exam (as this place is the only option my insurance covers). After my exam, I was led to the waiting area to wait for a rep to finish helping customers so they could get me checked out. Ended up being pressured into purchasing an extremely overpriced pair of glasses. And when I went to pay for them, they ended up being even more than what I was originally told. Went to pick up said glasses on a Sunday (their voice-mail and google both state they are open from 12-5 on Sundays...) drove over an hour to get there and find out they are in fact not open on Sundays. Called them on Tuesday (as they were closed that Monday, as well, for whatever reason), and informed them their vm and Google both state they have hours on Sunday. The woman- whose voice I recognized from the voicemail that states their hours- told me she knew that... Ummm... Okay. Anyhow, she agreed to ship my glasses, as I was not about to make another two hour trip just to pick them up (again). When they arrived, part of the left lense was damaged, and there was some sort of coating/etc on ONE lense (these were sunglasses, by the way) that made things shiny, almost irradescent, and therefore made it impossible to wear without getting a headache. I immediately called them... got their vm (during business hours), left a message asking for a return call. Several days later, I still haven't heard from them. Just left another message.I only gave this place 2 stars because the dr who did my exam was really awesome. She told me she is not employed by Pearle Vision. They work separately. This place is beyond sketchy. I would suggest literally anywhere else.

This was my 2nd visit to the 291 Hwy Lee's Summit location. It is always a great experience! Linda, Courtney and the Doctors are all knowledgeable, kind and funny. They are great at helping you find the best pair of frames and at the beat deal possible. Thank you team!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Bennett is very nice and knowledgeable. However, the other staff, while nice and pleasant, have NO idea what they are doing. My daughter’s prescription for glasses was supposedly sent to our insurance 16 days after her eye exam, then her info was filed in the already done file. No follow up. After I called a month later to ask when the glasses would be in, I was told our insurance/lab is very slow but they would check on things. Well, I called back 2 weeks later to tell them that our insurance/lab NEVER received the prescription. The employee had no excuse, but said she’d send my daughter’s prescription to their lab and the glasses should be in by the end of the following week. I called back 13 days later to find out still no glasses. I was told someone would call me back the next day after they spoke to their lab. Seven days later I call to tell them to cancel our order, reverse the sale, and restore our vision insurance benefits as we aren’t waiting any longer. The office manager, who I hadn’t ever spoken with before, and apparently didn’t know anything about our whole saga, then informed me that my daughter’s glasses had actually arrived in the store 2 days before, on a Saturday. Yet NOT one person had called to tell us. Even though our insurance paid 100% of the cost, we told her we didn’t want them as my daughter had found a pair at Target that she liked better.Kudos to Dr. Bennett for the exam, and to manager Debra for getting our benefits restored. However, the rest of the staff have no idea what they are doing, have no customer service skills, and have no concept of following up on things, nor do they call you back like they say they will.RUN quickly to some other place!

Very disgruntled staff answering the phones. I tried to set up care here. The first woman was pleasant and told me that they were shifting things around as one doctor had a family emergency and she would call to confirm my appointment. I never got a call back. Before I went to the office I tried to call to confirm I had an appointment that day. I got a different woman and she was anything but pleasant. She lectured me on how I didn’t have an appointment, a lot of times I was available wouldn’t work as they were changing their hours, and made a comment how she regretted taking my call and should’ve let the machine take my message. If you want better service. I recommend Lee’s Summit Eyecare Associates. They were great and won’t lecture you when you are trying to set up an appointment at their office.

Dr..Bennett is the best eye Dr. I have ever been to. She went way above and beyond to make.sure I will get the best glasses for my specific needs. The rest of the crew were super nice, fun, and a joy to work with. Heather has been there every time I have been there and she is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and I am pretty sure she holds the whole operation together. Not sure what they would do without her. Awesome job everyone!
