We had a great sales experience with Hunter. He helped us figure out options and get us into the perfect truck within our budget. He was also friendly and very respectful. We recommend buying with him!

Adam was my service writer and was always courteous and honest about the repairs. Parts delay was a holdup just as with any auto repair these days but understandable.I have taken my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 here since buying it new through the previous owner LSDCJ and will continue knowing the service department will do what they say.If I had any gripe it would be the hourly rate seems out of touch with customer expectations as it’s nearing lawyers fees.

Jeff was really nice and very informative. There was another younger gentlemen that was very nice too but I don't know his name. I got my transmission serviced. Didn't take long considering they said they only had two techs that day. Jeff came out to the lobby to find me and tell me that they did an inspection on the jeep and saw that the ball joint on the front right had play and the tierod on the front left had play as well. He said it will not pass the safety inspection if it's not addressed by the time I get tag renewal. I love when shops do this, they let you know if they see something that doesn't look right cause then you can address it in a timely fashion instead of it surprising you later. All-in-all, I had a good experience with the gentlemen at McCarthy Jeep. Great service!

Waited 2 hours for an oil change - with an appointment. Staff is not friendly - avoidant and rude. In my two hours sitting on the show room floor I watched and listened to a finance manager prance around arrogantly with his lack of leadership and people skills. Service couldn’t tell me if someone was covered under warranty or not - I had to pay for the service to “find out”. There was no attempt to learn more to help. Issues ultimately left unaddressed. The cake topper was I sat next to someone for 90 min while he was getting his vehicle serviced only for him to find out the part wasn’t in stock - after being told it was.Clearly the management here needs to increase training and identify better services going forward. Their (hardly) minimally viable product is a sad attempt at creating any loyalty amongst customers.

I typically have amazing experience at this dealership as I’ve come to this specific location for all of my services since 2020.But my most recent experience (12/29/2023) was not the best. I requested a few services (3) and everything was “back ordered” or could not be done (which I had a scheduled appointment) so I could only receive my oil change…..I was also told that the Jeep radio system replacement had gone up about $600 from an estimate I was given two months prior. No real explanation as to why and no offer to find a way to make payments on a service that went from $700 to $1200…Not sure what happened but this isn’t the service I’m used to at this location and I’m unsure if I’ll be returning.

I have been going to Lees’s Summit McCarthy’s service department for several years. Their service department has always been helpful and swift. I have come as a walk in and they did their best to accommodate me. I have had many diagnostics done and they never have been pushy about what repairs or service I needed. I have towed cars to them and they always did their best to fix my car’s issues. This time, Missy was fantastic in letting me know what was going on with my Jeep and always got back to me as soon as possible.Great experience with the service department.

Worst purchase experience we’ve ever had. After the initial sale, communication for payoff of trade in was poor. Reported problems with the vehicle within a week of purchase. Months later still trying to get repairs. The service dept denied an issue. We had to pay for a diagnosis elsewhere before they would take our concern seriously. Even after agreeing to take it to Ford for repairs, McCarthy is only wanting to complete half the repairs Ford identified, and which are included in the warranty agreement. We have purchased many vehicles in the past and have never had a terrible experience like this. We loved this truck when we bought it, but have regretted our decision to do business with McCarthy. At this point haven’t had the vehicle in 2 weeks and do not feel confident repairs will be done soon, if at all.

Do not recommend this dealership at all, especially because the service department is joke. I had to bring my vehicle in for a 7 am appointment scheduled 9 days out ‘cause that’s all they had available’ and ask for a courtesy vehicle to get to work. I was denied. Told they don’t do that here. But did mention a shuttle I could use. So I inform them I needed to leave by 815 PM make my 9 o’clock meeting. 810 rolls around and shuttle driver is ‘out and should be back soon’. So I try to be as patient as possible asking a couple times if there was an eta.. but at 845, they must have just been annoyed and gave my truck back and said they’d ‘need more time to diagnose what was wrong’. Hell of a place! Extended ‘warranty’ is not worth it at all either. Don’t waste your time or money at this place

Great service, great people. They really made it easy and convenient. I had to get my vehicle serviced and also needed a repair. Everyone I have done business with and/or talked to there explained everything thoroughly and made the process very easy.I purchased this vehicle there about a year and a half ago and have continued to take it back for service. They are truly kind, honest, and professional. Great experience every time.

The service department at McCarthy Jeep is unfortunately one I would not recommend to anyone. So if you need anything done to your vehicle do not expect that a appointment will get anything accomplished they will not keep you informed on the status of your vehicle or even address any of your concerns on it. I scheduled a appointment for a recall and for another issue I was having with my Jeep I dropped my Jeep of at 11am expecting for it to take approximately one hour as I was told when I made the appointment. I received two text messages when I dropped it off and was informed that I would be updated on the status while they worked on it. As time went on I never received another text or call. I tried texting as it said I could ask for updates through text and never heard anything back. I also called about 5 1/2 hours after I dropped it off and was put on hold for about 5 minutes and then the call ended. I eventually got a ride back and when I arrived I asked about my jeep and was told to wait while they got my service advisor. after a few minutes he walked in looked something up on his computer and walked back out without acknowledging me. he eventually came back and I was told that he didn’t even know my Jeep was there and that nothing was done to it and asked if I needed it back or if they should keep it for the weekend because the next time Somebody was there to work on it would be Monday as it is my only vehicle I could not leave it.

Unorganized service department. Their "good" reviews probably come from their friends and family.I just left and it took 2 hours for a scheduled oil change. There was no one else really there for service for about an hour and a half of that. I eventually just went to check on what was taking so long. My car had been sitting done for some time and they never came to get me. My service advisor even walked by me to get a snack out of the vending machine after about an hour into my wait and didnt acknowledge me.After i went and asked a woman finally checked me out and all I got was a "sorry for your wait." The guy who started my service didn't speak to me the entire time nor was he the one to check me out. No one reviewed the multi point inspection findings with me either. On top of the poor service this dealership has the least accommodating service waiting area I've seen. The sales guys were playing catch in the showroom.I will be finding another dealership to service my FCA vehicles moving forward. I suggest everyone else does too.

Sooo THANKFUL for McCarthy Jeep dealership! For getting my Jeep in asap, and providing exceptional service. You all fixed my heat, resolved my hot engine problem and put a smile on my face when you told me my insurance warranty covered the cost !!! (Minus my deductible). I am grateful! S/O to the mechanic Derrick Mason??

McCarthy Auto Group service department is horrendous, but especially Lindsay Capra, who I believe to be one of the service technicians.I bought a 2021 jeep grand cherokee L from Landmark Dodge in Independence, which met the lemon law requirements the year we bought it. It had major electronic issues and was in the shop more days than not in the first six months. Rather than forcing the buy-back, we agreed to a cash settlement of $5000 plus a bumper to bumper warranty to 100,000 miles. There were no cars on the market to choose from at that time dues to covid, so accepting their offer seemed like the best choice at the time. Landmark ultimately got everything repaired, added two brand-new batteries, again, and it has been running fine since.Last week I went out to the garage to leave and it wouldn't start, AGAIN! McCarthy Jeep is much closer to our home so I had the car towed there rather than Landmark - of course knowing the warranty will cover everything regardless of the Jeep Dealership.Their service was pretty bad all along the way, but nothing compares to what happened today. I picked up the car at 3:30 yesterday afternoon, which took much longer than it should have - close to 30 minutes waiting for them to go get the car for me. I got a call from Charlie this morning asking if everything seemed to be okay with the two new batteries, sounding as if there was some suspician that something might not be quite right. I was actually driving the car at that moment and told her everything seemed fine.My next stop was the UPS store. I had a very large trash back full of boxes that needed to be shipped, but none of the doors would open. I tried everything. Decided I'd have to take it home and come back later. Next stop is the bank, and the windows won't open either!I am leaving town tomorrow first thing, so it is a crazy day, no time to spare to get everything done - boxes must ship and I must get to the bank before I depart tomorrow.I call McCarthy and ask them to come get the car asap and explained what was going on, I explained that they had really blown up my entire day which is quite stressful already, that I needed them to come get the car, that I didn't need a rental since I was leaving town and have another car here I can use. They said I would need to call a tow service. Explained I would need them to arrange the tow service and take care of everything forward because they had already blown up my day entirely, and I was very stressed and pressed for time now given the circumstances. Lindsay must have been standing near the person I was speaking, because I could hear someone yelling as they moved toward the phone. She grabbed the phone and started yelling at me more, saying that I should just take the car back to Landmark Dodge and hung up on me. Literally hung up on me.I have left out a lot of details about the poor service during the full week they had the car, only to replace two batteries, but I am too pressed for time to go into it further.I will close by saying Lindsay Capra is the most unprofessional nasty person I have had to deal with in a very long time! Bottom line, steer WAAAAAY clear on McCarthy Jeep in Lee's Summit, MO!!!

Best service with a dealership I've ever experienced. Lindsay, the service manager, is amazing. Helped diagnose the battery issue with my vehicle over the phone, which was 100% the issue. Everyone in the dealership is professional, polite and friendly, but also honestly ...they are funny and easy going and the atmosphere just vibes well.

Decent service, but communication was lacking. I had to reach out for a status update. Was told the transmission guy had a family emergency (which is understandable) but we had to come to the dealership before we found that out. We always have to provide our own oil, the bulk Penzoil burns off like water therefore it creates an oil consumption issue. We don’t have this issue with the oil we provide. I can go on and on but I am sure you are aware of these types of things.
