Terrible pharmacy. We went to the Lee's Summit MO today and those people at the pharmacy are idiots. They are incompetent on every level. They were so supposed to have a rx filled and they hadn't even started it. Then some lady told us it would be 3 minutes to fill it and end up being about 20 minutes. Stay they are stupid!

A lot of selections and so affordable. I would recommend Hy-Vee before any other grocery store!

I only switched when Covid stuff happened and my other pharmacy had no pharmacist. They started out pretty good. Every now and again the rude lady tells me days I can fill and time I can fill. I’m fighting cancer and severe back issues my meds are filled every 29 days. They try to make me wait 30 to 31 days. I think they need more training on filling meds and how to deal with the public. They are not Drs they just fill meds and check for allergies and such. They have no right to control how our stuff is filled and when. That’s between patient and Dr. This lady needs removed if she’s going to be hateful!!

I was treated unequally by the Hy-Vee corporation and its employees and when I opposed the treatment of discrimination I was retaliated against by the employees and the security guard "Tammy". My money was checked for counterfeit two times and my white husband decided to attempt to purchase items from this public accommodation, and his money was NOT checked for counterfeit. I then opposed the discrimination and public humiliation and Tammy the security guard escorted me off the premises and shared with me her thoughts about my race in which she described me as an angry, accusatory and loud. I did not scream at any time while opposing the harassment and hatred, I never used any profanity while opposing the company and its employees unlawful discriminatory behavior and retaliation enforcement. I am a black woman. I video taped the entire unequal treatments of white customers, treatment versus a black customer unequal treatment. The Missouri Human Rights Act makes it illegal for places of public accommodation to deny access to or treat someone unequally because of an individual's race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, or disability.Places of public accommodation include places or businesses offering or holding out to the general public goods, services, privileges, facilities, advantages, or accommodations for the peace, comfort, health, welfare, and safety of the general public or such public places providing food, shelter, recreation, and amusement. - Section 213.010(15), RSM

Pharmacy filled a prescription to soon so my insurance rejected it. They tried discount cards. 1st rejected and 2nd approved for $150. My insurance would have been $0 if filled at the right time. I had an in-law pick it up, who didn't know what it should cost. Hyvee wouldn't do anything about it. Told me I would have to eat the $150. Not there 1st mess up.

We recently moved to the area, and have been looking around for a grocery store that we like. So far we have found three! I really like Hy-Vee for produce, frozen food and especially their meat department. I don't think I will buy meat anywhere else. The folks working the butcher counter are incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful.I love that. There's also a liquor store attached to this grocery store.They have a very nice deli as well.We were able to buy some Chiefs items and Royals hats in the fan store inside. That was pretty cool.I think my favorite feature about this store is that they are all employee owned. That's awesome!

If you want to stand in line inside while they mill about ignoring customers or sit in line at the drive through FOREVER , then by all means fill your prescriptions here. This has to be the worst Pharmacy in the entire metropolitan area. Then, when someone finally does wait on you, they aren't even nice! I have gone here for years, but I'm finding someplace else. It has really gone downhill.. Save yourself a ton of time and DONT go here. They don't even deserve one star. Zero is more appropriate!

Love this location even though I live in Overland Park. Shelves are stocked, the store is clean & there are always plenty of cashiers. So far, this is also the Market Grille we prefer especially on Thursday Steak Special night. We also like the wine & liquor tastings. Ralph & crew in the liquor department are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If I didn't live so far away, I would be here more often.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son had a double ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics and ear drops. The prescriber said if I had any issues with the drops (as they can be expensive out of pocket depending on insurance carrier) to have the pharmacy reach out to them and they would do another brand. The insurance supposedly rejected the drops, and I was told they would fax over a request to get a different brand. I called to check the next day, and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. They tell me insurance didn't reject, but it will be $100. I ask them again to fax over a request to get another brand. Three hours later I call to check on it and now a 3rd person doesn't see that the request was sent and wanted to know the situation. Very frustrating to speak to 3 different people and be told 3 different things and still not have what I need for my son.

This bad review is for the Chinese restaurant inside Hy-vee in 151st. The people are so rude. I don't understand that actitud but someone has to do something to change this situation.

Disappointingly rude pharmacist? tech? nurse? (she had no name tag, though she was wearing scrubs) gave me COVID booster. Got a surprisingly condescending response to a simple question. I'll probably stick to CVS at Target in the future.
