My neighbor bought a 17,000.00 car from them, had trouble with the car, dealership would not give him the codes on the diagnostic , issues getting their money back. People beware, they're shady.

Wow--we were dreading the used car shopping experience, then we went to Herrington Auto in Lee's Summit. We weren't pounced on the minute we got there--we were given our space to look around. The car was priced at a great deal price per Carfax, it was immaculate, and even given that it was a great value, he included a 90 day warranty, Missouri inspection and a 30-day temp tag at no cost. We were so not expecting such a respectful, professional and courteous experience but that is just what we received. Highly recommend this dealer!

I have bought cars from Harrington Auto and also had my vehicles serviced and repaired at Harrington Auto. Great service all around. They are Reliable, Reasonable, Honest and a Family owned Lee's Summit business.

Kim and Glenn are great people to work with they've found my wife and I vehicles. It's easy to communicate with them, no pressure or stressful sales. I enjoy seeing them and the conversations we had. It's great to know there are still good dealerships out there.

Was looking at 2010 Malibu (5900.00), dealer allowed me to take it to my mechanic (Christian Brothers Automotive). My mechanic completed assessment (with pictures and concerns $3000.00 in repairs oil leaks , gaskets etc). I shared this with dealership and they said they would not lower price and that the mechanic did not now what he was talking about.......BEWARE.

Thanks Kim!!! When you buy a used car you never really know what you are going to get. When the alternator went out in the car i just purchased, my warranty covered it no problem. A couple weeks later it went out again. Come to find out my car is picky and needed the original manufacturing alternator not an aftermarket alternator. This time warranty would only put the aftermarket alternator that did not run my car properly. Shout out to Kim Herrington she did everything bent over backwords working with her shop and my warrenty to make sure the right part was put into my car. She always made sure i had a way to get around when my car was in the shop!Thank you for going out of your way muilt times to make sure me and my kids had a reliable car! ❤

I showed up to the lot to look at a particular car and I called ahead of time to let them know. A lady came out, saw us and then walked back in the office. No one greeted me. I had to find someone to ask to test drive the car. When I returned, I went to the office to talk. I wanted to purchase the car right then and there. I told them that the car is "overpriced" according to CarGuru and I wanted a fair price. They complained that they had to spend money on a limited warranty and that they can only reduce the price by $500. With that price, it was still considered to be overpriced. She stated that they needed to make an adjustment on CarGuru and that adjustment only decreased the price by $77. I walked out only because of the excuses, she acted like it was a pain to print out the CarFax and it was very obvious they didn't want my business. That car has been sitting on their lot for about 3 months. This place doesnt care about customer service and treating people with respect. I wouldn't get a car here. They are full of excuses, overpriced and not willing to negociate. That car is still up for sale! I bought a much better car from somewhere right up the street from them!!Responding to your response from my statement. I think what you said just says it all. It wasn't about not agreeing on the price, it was the matter in which it was all handled. You were just not friendly and acted like you didn't want our business. All I heard was excuses from you. This, right here, is why I took my business elsewhere.

After careful consideration upon reading the reviews, I decided to give Herrington a shot. I determined that most people writing bad reviews probably just didn’t get their way. Just my opinion.My experience was great. Kim went above and beyond to get me approved. Glenn helped me out when I went to look at the truck. Nothing pushy at all. I’m ever so thrilled with my new vehicle and their way of business.I gave only 4 stars because I was told it had a 90 day 4500 mile warrant on the vehicle. Less than 3 weeks and 2500 miles the right front brake caliper locked up on me. Had to replace the caliper and a set of pads. It was 8 at night and no shop was open. I definitely couldn’t drive it an hour to lees summit in that condition. Keeping in mind I had to work the next day, I went to oreillys, bought the parts and performed the work myself as I usually do anyways. The next day I sent a picture with receipt and miles to them seeing if they’d reimburse me ($200). That was declined. I get it, they have their way of doing things but under the circumstances it would’ve cost them more if I had taken it to a shop around me with parts markup and labor. I’m not upset about it though. I will probably purchase from them again in the future.

Best experience I have ever had buying an used car. They were very easy to deal with and very patient with me when an issue arose with my loan. I would give them 6 stars if that was an option.

Never been here...never met them ect...but I literally hate that they responded to every single bad review. The way whoever acts all in the righteous, no matter if they were right or wrong, bothers me. They way they just call people out (even a current customer, that just bought a vehicle from them!)...yes they have the right to defend themselves I suppose but I'd never do business here just because of this.Every place has a few (or even alot) bad reviews. I want to read them, without your side of whatever story. I want to make up my own mind, by people's good or bad experiences.Just feels scuzzy in some way. I picture some crotchety old lady that has wayyyyy too much time on her hands, just clickyclacking away.....No thanks too scared what they will say about me...Taking a risk just posting this....
