Just heard a commercial about how Price Chopper stays up late reducing prices. I gotta tell you, that person(s) should be fired. In my opinion I'm not sure you'll find a higher price grocery store: $5.39lb for 80/20 ground beef but next week it will be $2.99. Skim milk almost $2.00 more per gallon than Walmart. Tried picking up some Revoln hair color that was on the list, 5,99 at Price Chopper, only $3.97 At Walmart. Price chopper is grossly overpriced and I'm not sure there is a less friendly grocery store out there. Price Chopper let all the adults go and now it's a free for all. Their motto must be " young people cheap labor". That's a sad business model. One of the front end managers commented they always have new customers but rarely the same customer.HyVee might not have the best pricing but the store is inviting, most of the associates smile and they all seem willing help in you need it. Walmart serves it purpose and even there most cashiers say hi and or thank you even at self check out. Price Choppers philosophy seems to me more old school and not up to date....prices, unfriendly service often spells customers crossing the street to the competitor.

They have the nicest staff and you can find almost anything there The people who worked with me this morning made sure that I had a choice of paper or plastic. I haven't seen that in years

Lately I was hit with progressive multiple sclerosis I have had bad days but the people both inside and community have stopped to help me put my groceries into my suv I am so impressed people are aware of those that need little assistance they have no idea how it’s appreciated.

I didn't shop there. Actually went to go do some work in the Starbucks. It was very nice and the people behind the counter were very pleasant. I was able to work on n peace.
