“I was having trouble finding a place to replace a hose on my classic car when I came across this garage. I am familiar with the building but never realized they did car repairs . What a stroke of luck finding it. They are great! Very straight forward. NO bull. Just honest hard working people. You can't beat the prices either. I had actually picked the car up from another popular place where they had kept it for 2 weeks and hadn't even touched it. They hadnt bothered to order the parts in either.They did leave me with a completely empty gas tank and dirt and bird droppings on the car however. This Main Street garage is a hidden gem. “I had a very good experience with Lee's Summit Transmission. Family-owned and very friendly, something I find refreshing in comparison to today's cold and indifferent corporate-world. I asked if I could leave my car with them since I had to go out of state on a family issue, and they accommodated my request without any hesitation. There was a slight problem when driving it home, but I took it back and the issue was addressed immediately. Perhaps they forgot to take it for a test drive after repairs, but it was not a big deal, and I will certainly return in the future.”
