“Needed my truck repaired after a small collision and chose Mccarthy to do the work. I was told it would take about 2 1/2 weeks due to OEM parts availability as a result of the GM strike. Well, exactly 2 1/2 weeks later , my truck was done!! They did a very good job restoring my truck to it's original condition. However, as I was driving home, I noticed some stains on my seat, that I know were not there prior to dropping off my truck. I went back to the dealership and contacted Caleb, the service rep. He immediately took my truck to the detail department and had the seat cleaned. The next day, I noticed that the stains were still there and went back to the dealership. The service manager was present and took my truck back to detail to have the seat cleaned again. The stains never came out. Contacted Caleb again and was told they would order a new seat cover. Waiting to hear back from them. I will try and update this review once the seat cover has been replaced. Mccarthy would have gotten 5 stars if the bodyshop would have been a little more careful while doing the work.”

Ethan and the manager ( Sorry/ meant to remember and cannot- great guy - has glasses - Bronson maybe??) provided EXCELLENT customer service for us and got us the code and some other shop products while we were there. Super nice and easy to deal with and walked us step by step through what tests they were running. Got us back on track and we made it back home to Colorado - thanks guys! “If you are reading this that means you’re looking to buy a car. I do not enjoy shopping for a new car and really hate the process but this Buick dealership made it easy.We came here since our daughter drives a Buick and she hasn’t had any problems. My wife and I visited once about a month ago and met Adrian Sanders. We asked some questions and he answered them but we were not ready to buy and gave us his card. Fast forward to this weekend and we visited this dealership after spending some time at another one earlier. We showed up about 4:00 on a Saturday and asked for Adrian. This time we wanted to look at a couple of Encore GX’s and he easily answered our questions and we went for a test drive. During the test drive my wife had some questions and Adrian answered them with ease. This guy knows what he’s talking about and made this experience very enjoyable. Long story short, we bought the car and at no time did we feel pressured. We felt bad since we kept them after closing time but they did not care at all. If you are looking for a GMC or Buick then you need to visit this Dave Cross dealership and ask for Adrian.”
“I would like to thank Truck Works South for their superior efforts in finally getting the MX-4 tonneau cover from BAKFlip installed on my truck. The first one they installed had manufacturing defects. They noticed them as it was installed and explained they would order the repair parts and get it fixed. After replacing one part the cover still didn’t work correctly. It took some effort but after several communications with BAKFlip, they were able to procure a replacement top and get it installed. It took about 4 months but throughout the ordeal they have been in constant communication with me. I never once doubted their efforts to make it correct. They also installed a Line-X spray in bed liner. That went perfect. I highly recommend Truck Works South for anything you may want for your truck. Thanks again.”

“I had them paint a new bumper off the car and they paint matched pretty well. It's as close to an imperceptible paint match as its going to get unless I somehow am able to get it painted at the Toyota factory. The laying of the paint and clear coat is identical to the factory painted body panels so light shines and reflects the same way throughout the entire car. They were able to squeeze me in with their very busy schedule and the agent I was working with was friendly and professional. The bumper was painted in 2 days, which is pretty quick considering how busy they are. The price is high, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend. I hope I never have to use them again, but if something unexpected happens, I'll pay these guys a visit.Services: Painting”

“Well, after reading the other reviews I figured I should share my positive experience. Perhaps they are working at becoming better, because we came back to McCarthy to purchase after driving all over the Kansas City metro area. TJ was kind, and when we experienced a problem similar to what another man mentioned with mechanical issues on day 1 of ownership, with a little insistence on my part (you do have to ask for people to make things right sometimes) they fixed every issue that had risen in a week's time. I think the service department is great (Chris in particular is just about the friendliest guy you'll ever meet) and I feel like my car is finally in good shape. Honestly, they just don't make them like they used to and cars seem to crap out rather quickly these days. We did say no to all the warranties. That's the biggest racket I ever did see. It's like dealerships are banking on the car not making it off the lot. Hogwash I tell ya! But give them a try, I think they're trying to turn things around.”

“Carstar was very easy to work with. Esther kept great communication. I even got prompt responses when she was out from anyone covering for her. Drop off was easy as well as pick up. And they washed my car and wiped down the inside. That just really made my day. Edit: I forgot they also cleaned the inside of my windows which were getting mucky. ❤️”
