I did not want to make a negative review. But my experience is questionable. Dental tech let me walk out of the office 2x knowing that the bottom dentures did not fit. Instead if them replacing them they did something to make the situation worse. I have not been able to eat in two weeks. I go back this Thursday my 3rd trip, I hope to have this done correctly. At this point I cannot recommend the. I should of went to Affordable Dentures, prob would of been a better experience. People just want your money. They do not care about anything else.

The people were okay and the work seemed okay but my mouth has calmed down from the tooth I had pulled and I realized that I still have tooth fragments in there. So, now I’m going to have to have another dentist remove the fragments they didn’t get out.And also the way they tried to gauge me with the excess billing and things they didn’t ask me about but just tried to charge me were not okay.

Arrived during their lunch break because I was in excruciating pain. Had an appointment scheduled for 1430. I patiently waited three hours to only receive a referall to an orthodontist. I even asked for my tooth to be extracted. I am totally disappointed in their uncaring attitude. This hurry to rush me out was due to the office only having one dentist available with an office full of patients. This is not an emergency dental center.

Made an emergency appointment for tooth pain with a broken tooth that needed to be extracted. The dentist said she wasn’t going to do it the day of as she had two other people and it was getting close to the end of the day, which was fine. She sent in an antibiotic and told me to get on the schedule asap.As I was making the appointment with the office manager, she noticed there was a cancellation and went to ask the dentist if I she would be able to get it done because of that. As the dentist was walking down the hall, I heard her say, “I’m not doing it today!!” The next available wasn’t till the week after! The office manager was kind enough to call another office for me and get me on their schedule. I won’t be back to the Lees Summit office if I have true dental emergency. They didn’t do anything for it.

So far, all I've done is a checkup (following which a very expensive "deep cleaning," rather than the routine cleaning would have expected to be part of a routine checkup), the deep cleaning (for which I paid at the time and following which I was told I'd need to come back for an included followup visit) and the follow up visit & cleaning. Following each visit, I asked if I owed anything before leaving and each time I was told I did not.A few weeks after the deep cleaning, I got a bill for services not covered by my insurance. Called & spoke to the billing people, who referred me to my insurer. Turns out Aspen used a different "service code" when they checked w/my insurer than they did when they billed the insurer & me. Nothing to be done. I paid.A few weeks after the followup, again I get a bill this time for services for which Aspen charged me more than the insurer covers. Quite the shock since I thought the followup was covered by the 4-figure out-of-pocket cost for the initial "deep cleaning."I tried calling again, but was disconnected and after calling back and listening to the "wait time is estimated to be less than 5 minutes" message for a little less than half an hour was rolled over to their answering service was told to call back during office hours, which was when I called ... but apparently they close earlier than their posted office hours. The people who work there are nice; but all in all, this was not a good customer experience. You cannot budget nor can you compare healthcare costs across providers without transparency.I don't generally post negative reviews. This is maybe my second? Third? Out of over 400.But you need to know that you will not know what the dental care you receive here will cost you for UP TO 8 MONTHS (see update below) after you've received it, and you cannot rely upon what you are told at the time you receive the service.Sorry, but that's my experience. Your experience may be different. I hope it is.update:Thanks for the response. Couldn't get anyone to pick up at the provided number when I called last year.I was, however, able to talk to someone at the local office and they "took care of" that bill. Then came the *second* follow-up cleaning, after which I was told again that I owed nothing. Now, eight (8) months later comes a bill for *that* cleaning. Calling the local office today: the phone connected but no-one spoke. Just silence for three minutes, then disconnection. On the "questions about your bill" number, the phone connected but went straight to music for 30-plus minutes before disconnecting. So I went on line, paid the bill, dropped the rating here to one-star, updating the review now to reflect why, and my next step is to find a new dentist. My advice to others is to do the same.

this place is horrible! I scheduled an appointment on Sunday for emergency dental procedure because I had broken tooth, I get there today. They treat me like a brand new patient even though this is a place that made my partials and I’ve been there several times, they still treated me like a new patient. I was sitting in the chair. The dentist finally came in and started talking about the consult. I told her it wasn’t a consult. I had scheduled for emergency dental treatment and she said oh I can’t fix it today. I have you down for a consult. I will never ever go back to this office and I will never recommend Aspen dental for anything. They are absolutely horrible .
