Meat is expired, check the dates before you buy. They don't have a butcher so they buy Chinese meat. The Starbucks in store burns there coffee. The place is subpar.

WARNING to anyone shopping at Price Cutter:
Whoever is responsible for running this store clearly has a lack of concern over quality control. My family has shopped here several times over the past few weeks. The first instance I bought a pound of strawberries, brought them home and was cutting some up for my daughter when I realized that under the surface all of the berries were rotten and mold covered. I called the store then to inform them and they told me I could have a refund if I brought the package of mold covered strawberries back to them. Whatever. I had also purchased a bag of pre cut broccoli florets and upon closer inspection there was already mold forming on the florets, I checked the expiration date and they were still supposed to be good for another week. There must be some form of improper storing of products.
Fast forward to this week a couple nights ago. I go through their produce section looking for mini oranges. I picked up a couple bags to feel around and make sure that they weren’t over ripe and my finger pushes into something wet, ROTTEN ORANGES. Sitting on the shelf ready to be sold to an unsuspecting customer. We continued on to the meat section, went to pick a pack of burgers and even got up to the cashier when I realized that the meat hadn’t even been labeled with a best by date. Thankfully I noticed before we left the store and I was able to return the meat.
Long story short I called the store and asked to speak to the general manager instead of going straight online to leave a nasty review. The general manager spoke with me on the phone, didn’t offer any apology for the state of the items that we had purchased and found and also admitted that he was aware of the condition of the produce section and his only reassurance was that he is in need of a new manager for that section.
My suggestion—— shop somewhere else.

Anemic meat dept. I was shocked at how scant few beef items are stocked and how small the meat department in this store is. The store is clean, oddly stocked, has some reasonable specials. Overall, its a miss. This supermarket is much more concerned with appearance and display than convenience and selection. There are many much better Supermarket choices within a short drive in town.
