“This Aldi's has never failed me. I've always had good bread, decent meats and fresh produce that I can afford. I like there toilet paper and paper towels. Just recently ate the frozen Gyro kit and boy it's great quality. Tasty for sure.”
“I like the store but today I went in to grab a pair of flip flops because I left home in a hurry due to an emergency. The cashier was a young lady with face piercings and as she was ringing up my shoes she very rudely said you have to have shoes on as loud as she could. I belive she could have said it nicely and to just me instead of bringing to everyone in the stores attention. You people need to have more respect and kindness.”

Our Dollar General stores around here are all about the same, same style same basic inventory, same quick snatch and grabgeneral food medical auto and home stuff even camping stuff I've noticed.
Check outs are generally like anywhere else for the most part.
,yes recommend em as a good alternative to whatever your comparing to , and I've never had any issues at any of em around here.
Damn shame employees there do not get discounts which i think is crazy.

offering discounts to employees, I'd tell go jump off a big bridge .
Guess they don't care about "employees appreciation" period.
