Love Bennett Springs. Been going there 45 years. They are redoing the hatchery runs which has changed the flow of water some. Still a great place to visit and stay.

Bennett Springs State Park is a gem of Missouri, offering a variety of activities and attractions for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The park is centered on the third-largest spring in the state, which produces more than 100 million gallons of clear, cool water every day. The spring branch is a paradise for trout fishing, as it is stocked daily with rainbow trout. You can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, or floating on the scenic Niangua River, which flows through the park. The park has a rich history, dating back to the 19th century, when settlers built mills along the spring-fed stream. You can learn more about the park’s past at the nature center, which features exhibits, displays, and programs. You can also see the remnants of the mills and the stone bridge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s. The CCC also constructed the dining lodge, cabins, trails, roads, shelters, and the fish hatchery, which you can visit and tour. The park has something for everyone, whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventurous experience. You can choose from a range of lodging options, including campsites, cabins, motel rooms, and yurts. You can also explore the park’s natural beauty on 12 miles of hiking trails, which offer stunning views of the spring, the river, the bluffs, and the forest. You can also enjoy a picnic, a barbecue, or a meal at the dining lodge, which serves delicious food and drinks.Bennett Springs State Park is a place where you can reconnect with nature, have fun, and make memories. I highly recommend visiting this park and discovering its wonders for yourself.

Absolutely beautiful! The spring is amazing. Excellent campsites. I don’t fish so I can’t comment on that but those in my party who did had a good time and came back with some good looking trout. Will come back if I get the chance and stay longer than just a couple of days.

Went with a group of 15 guys and did some tent camping. Even though it was hot the river was nice and cool. Plenty of spots to fish and never felt overcrowded. The store had everything that we needed and our guys went nuts for the soft serve ice cream. Planning on coming back next year. The campsites were very nice with electric and had tons of room for all of our campers. The restrooms were plentiful and not far at all from our campsite. They were showers and they were fairly clean considering the camp atmosphere. All in all I say it was such a great experience, our guys had a good time, and we will most likely return this next year.

This place is beautiful and the fishing is superb! There a ton places to choose to fish, three different zones with specific baits allowed in each. The staff at the facilities are all awesome as well. All around a great experience!Playground: They also have a fairly basic playground for kiddos that don't have the patience.Dog-friendliness: Leashed dogs are allowed in the park.Picnic area: There are cabins to rent with their own picnic area as well as a few other spots through out the park.
