N I C E I N V E N T O R Y But that's where the good part ends. The 2 folks working here were unbelievably rude and unfriendly. The sad thing was, I don't think they were even aware they had an unfriendly attitude. I felt like the lady was breathing down my neck, and kept asking if she could help me find anything. I finally tried to find my way out of the maze without even seeing everything, because I don't like being treated like that. I am NOT a criminal, and won't be treated as such! I don't care what has happen there in the past, but they need to treat customers with MONEY better than that. I took the 1 item I selected up to the counter, paid and left. Sadly for them, I saw 3 pieces of furniture I was very interested in. I was in my car, so I certainly wasn't purchasing them today, but I really really was interested in them. Enough to consider borrowing a truck and returning, from Minnesota! Screw that idea. BE PREPARED FOR JERKS

1st off, the name is so whimsical...Enchanted Frog! The staff greeted us at the door with a smile and how it was laid out, that was nice. The booths are well kept with tons to see! The place smelled good, like scented candles. Easy access off hwy35. The picture is one of the booths, so groovy? This place is a gem!

Overall 8.5 - Building is 85% antiques, which is above average. Recommend the stop. Clean store.Staff 9.5- Greeted at the door, asked me if I needed help more than once, took items from my hands to let me continue to shop and packed everything very wellPrices 7 - Moderate to high. Several booths realizing the current demand and had 20-50% off. Very affordable to current market prices for the most partPurchased 3 items, one being a Christmas gift. I stop every time I go through. Sometimes it's a bust, but not very often.

We stopped in today to take a look. There's a sign on door asking people to leave purses in car , um not shopping where I have to do that.We went in regardless , then was circled like sharks the entire time.If you have so much theft you have to stay within 3 feet of your customers the entire time then shut your doors.Smdh , I'm not spending a dime where I'm made to feel as though I'm doing something wrong simply by shopping here.

I stop here when driving between Kansas City and Des Moines. Lots of interesting items and all reasonably priced. Located near a gas station so you can fill up before you go back to the Interstate too. The employees are very friendly too. Thanks

Packed with lots of fun things to look at. I spent 3 hours leisurely browsing one Sunday afternoon. The folks at the front checkout were friendly.

To all those who have nasty things to say about their “no bags” rule ,,, GROW UP, it is not personal to you so stop playing victim and move on down the road. There are WAY too many nooks and crannies to explore and even more precious little treasures that can easily be “misplaced” by anyone dropping by off the interstate highway never to be seen again. As I understand there are several purveyors in the building with their goods, and they are not always there to watch over them.Again if you’re one of those ____’s lowering your rating because of the no bag /purse rule there are many in this world that WILL STEAL, your feelings are yours to keep to yourself. This place is huge,,, plan for the long haul sight seeing all the antiques… this ain’t a yard $ale. ??

I'm a bit younger than your average antiques shopper but found plenty to look at that was interesting. They've added quite a bit of retro stuff recently in addition to the traditional pre-1950s stuff you'd expect. The prices are generally very reasonable and set by each dealer apparently. With dozens of dealers and a huge mall, there's a wide variety of selection. The mall itself is quite nice. A convenient location right off I-35, quaint on the outside, clean, comfortable and well lit on the inside. They often decorate for special occasions and have treats for guests. The people working there were very nice and helpful and seem to all be renters of booths so were able to actually talk about much of the inventory as well. It's right next door to a convenient gas station on the trip north into and out of KC. If you need a nice diversion north of KC it's worth a stop.

A must stop for us when we head South out of the Des Moines IA metro on our way to Kansas City or Branson MO. If antiques, collectable, and collectibles are your thing make sure you put this stop on your list. Everything from furniture to smalls... The Enchanted Frog's inventory encompasses a little of everything. A well laid out maze of booths and cases. If you can't find something here to take home you didn't look hard enough!

I've stopped here twice in the past few years. Each time I found things I wanted and purchased them. I do feel the prices are on the higher side and others must agree because I saw some items that I thought were overpriced still there two years later. In regard to the no purse rule, I took my purse in both times even though the sign in the door says no purses allowed. If they ever tell me I cannot bring it in, I will leave and never return as I think it's the most ridiculous rule I have ever heard from a store.
