I have been going to Walmart pharmacy since they opened. I must say, the quality of service, customer relations, and just common human courtesy has gone to the waste side. I remember fondly, how kind the pharmacist was, and the customer service cashiers that truly cared about the community and the consumer. Those days are sadly gone, and the new norm is waiting in line through the drive-thru for 20 to 30 minutes, with assistants with little or no personal concern for human life. Instead, they tell you it's your issue, but in reality, it is on their end. Never in my life have I ever felt so embarrassed, when the assistant tells the pharmacist all her cards keep declining. Well, maybe it's human error, as I watched two other customers go before me, no problem. My turn, she asked for ID, which was in hand, but she was too unaware to see it in my hand. Next, she continues to run my bank card multiple times, then asks for another, and then finally a third one. Enough, at that point, are you for real? I stated, there are no problems with my cards, until I came to you! We are not playing this game with my bank cards, as it will possibly shut them down, as it looks like fraud. She has the audacity to ask me for a third one. Finally, the pharmacist comes over, my original card is run, and goes through in seconds. Moral to the story, there are those who would rather blame you for their incompetence, and attempt to publicly shame you, before looking at their own failures and apologizing for humiliating you, and wish you a wonderful day! People do not put up with being treated poorly by an establishment that has the ability to update their payment system, with a tap or a card, instead of swiping, which is old-school pay. Oh, thanks for the extra, "Have A Wonderful Day Comments, From Employees That Chose To Eavesdrop, And Throw Their Two-Cents In On Something That Had Nothing To Do With Them. I'm sure my disabled child appreciates you for being so crast in regards to me picking up mediation for them that aids them in functioning in life. Keep It Classy Lake Saint Louis Pharmacy! I know corporate can't wait to hear my experience. Trust me I will make it a point for them to know. Do better! You serve the community, we do not serve you.

Had my prescription sent to this pharmacy and I was close. The weather being bad it was a plus I could use the drive thru. After a super long wait, which I happily did, it was finally my turn. When I asked the person if I could use my GoodRX code she said hold on then, and hung up. I waited longer after 5 mins and her taking other cars, I called back. Yes, by this time I was frustrated. She then said she was trying to get the code to go through but it wouldn't. I asked if I could give her my code, she said she already had a code. I got a special code for upgrading my membership with GiodRX. When I tried to explain she again hung up on me. I waited, called again, no answer. This time I just came in. They The pharmacist honored the code after telling me there was something wrong with my profile. No one would give me the workers name, and she kept an actual cover over it so you couldn't see it. If she had at least given me the time to explain my situation or heck even ran it through my insurance like I asked when I called the prescription in none of this would have happened.

Wow! I’ve been going to this Walmart for years and never knew they had a drive through for the pharmacy. I recently had a doctor recommend that I move my prescriptions to Walmart because I’d save quite a bit of money. I changed last month and the savings was very significant. Having the drive thru means I don’t have to find a parking space or get out of the car. Love it!

The pharmacy staff is generally friendly and quick to assist. This is one of the few Walmart pharmacies I have experienced that has a drive up window very similar to a drive through bank teller system. You use the vacuum tube to send payment and to receive your prescription. Its handy and quick. In addition in times like this it's very convenient and safe. I recommend using it!

I used it for the first time yesterday - other than not being able to hear the first gentleman very well (I am a little hard of hearing on the low pitches) when the young lady took over, I could hear just fine. I love being able to use drive up service.

The staff is usually friendly enough but they acted flummoxed when our doctor wrote for over the counter meds because our insurance covers them. They won't do the leg work to find out if it's covered unless we push them to do it. Otherwise they just tell us it's an over the counter med and we can just buy it. Yes, that's true, but if insurance is going to cover it why wouldn't we go that route? Also our primary care physician is a nurse practitioner and our insurance won't pay for prescriptions unless an MD writes for it. Instead of calling doctors office and clearing it up they wait until we get there and then we have to wait even longer. Also, we've had three scripts come with the wrong amount of pills in the bottle. Two we can't prove (my husband ran out way before he should have of his 30 day supply and even skipped a couple of days and there's no other explanation of where the pills went) but one they over filled so we have proof (doctor wrote for 14 and the pharmacy gave us 30). If they can miscount pills, filling with the wrong dosage isn't outside the realm of possibilities and that's just scary. We switched from schnucks pharmacy in Lake St. Louis for the convenience of it but we're now switching back. We filled with them for years and never had a single issue.
