called the place to make sure they had what i needed, when i called i got a “hello”…how about a “thank you for calling dollar general,how may i help you?” when asked if they had said product, i was told they were closed. online said otherwise. worker then told me someone quit that day and that she wanted to just go home….when i pulled up to the place ,doors were locked ,employee's car was in the lot ,lights on, and the diy sign made in 2.5 sec was upside down saying they closed early. make this make sense.

I dont see how this location has 4 and a half stars. Its never open. Today marks the 5th time I've driven there to find it closed. I get staffing issues, but if your struggling that much for that long then change your hours! I am tired of wasting my time and gas (which is 4.60 a gallon as I write this) to go here thinking that it is open and it isnt. This location is one of the few that carries some things I can't find anywhere else (in store) but if you are going to keep your posted hours a lie and close early constantly without updating your hours then I won't be coming back and will take my business to Amazon. As one of the few residents of Lake st louis that advocated for this to open I'm sorry I wasted my breath.

This is the best aldis. Especially love all the aldis finds. Beautiful and clean store, great staff at this location.

I go to this Dollar General frequently. It’s always very clean and well stocked. The staff is also very friendly.

Yeah, store is closed at all the strangest hours. At least today there was a piece of paper taped to the door hand written saying “store hours 9am to 6pm”…. I posted pictures to Google to help others
