I did NOT purchase a dog from them at no fault of the business. But they have been very quick to respond to all emails/messages and are a very honest business. Hopefully I will be able to purchase from them in the future!

The Wards raise a great breed of German shorthair pointers. They run a high quality operation and have really great puppies. They are not only great natural pointers, but outstanding family pets could not recommend more!

We got a pup from them a few weeks ago, they sent updates and pictures of pup every week, answered any and all questions pertaining to the breed (I’m new to GSP), everything they say they do, is 110% true, great people to do business with and they have beautiful dogs, that are excellent hunters! I definitely recommend them, and I will be getting another pup from them in the near future!

Wonderful to deal with. They breed amazing hunting dogs that also make great family pets. My Delilah is 4 and she is an outstanding waterfowl dog in NC.

We just LOVE our GSP Sherman! We had a great experience with Southern Missouri German Shorthair Pointers from the time we put our deposit down. They allowed us to come visit and pick out our puppy and treated us like family while we were there. They kept us informed with great communication & photos while we were waiting on our puppy. We would highly recommend!

Leaving a review mostly in response to Jason’s. I have had impeccable communication with Southern Mo Shorthairs, mostly Jane. She has updated me, answered every question and then some. Leaving a bad review because someone doesn’t offer a stud service is petty. I have not yet gotten my GSP but when I do it will be from Jane and Jonny. Give them a call or email you won’t regret it.

Amazing dogs from fantastic people that care about raising good, healthy, and sociable hunting dogs. Our pointer is the perfect combination of hunting partner and family companion. He learns quickly, has awesome natural hunting instincts, and is super cuddly when not in the field. Highly recommended!!!
