these guys work so hard and always are polite and quick. so what if the lines are long? every pharmacy is understaffed. what matters is that people show up with a smile on their face.

If you have chronic pain DO NOT have your doctor call in a pain script. Just for the heck of it I called Des Peres location, just to see if they saw any issues with the prescription. I was shocked when they said my doc had 3 paragraphs explaining why to fill it. To all the pharmacist at Kirkwood. Just do what you’re told because you’re not a doctor. You just waste everyone’s time. I will never step in that place again. I usually never leave negative reviews but for all the people that have severe pain, don’t waist your time. I’m sure if they called in ibuprofen, they would want more information. Shame on you. Thats not taking care of your patients.

This Walgreens is not equipped to dispense vaccinations. They struggle enough as it is with just prescriptions. We waited an hour past our appointment and then they didn’t end up even having pediatric COVID shots. Get your act together.

I was just treated horribly by a young man at the window. I was in the store yesterday and handed them a script which I waited for and they filled. However, they decided on their own to fill another prescription of my wife that apparently was due for a refill as well. I said I would take it home and see if she needed and if not, I would bring it back. He claims that he told me that they could not take a return on the following day, and that he had explained this to me......He actually did not explain that. He had offered to give me a refund on the spot, but I was given the impression that I could take it back the next day if she did not want it.I very nicely told him that that was not explained to me. He promptly said to me "OK, bye-bye ".I was in shock, and this came out of nowhere this attitude. I will be shopping and getting my medication's from CVS from now on. I had been a customer at Walgreens for years and years and years, very loyal.I have never been treated like that, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I had no attitude at all, I merely pointed out that it was not what I'd been told..

the worst location to work with when getting prescriptions filled.if they are unable to refill the request they will never let you know OR tell you completely different things all while rushing to get you off the phone. it is annoying when it is a pet who desperately needs the medication and you are just waiting a week+ just for them to dig into it more after you stay persistent JUST to let you know they are unable to get the prescription. one of the workers is really bad about it and will treat you like a complete idiot on the phone and in person for just asking questions.so annoying and enough reason to switch to CVS.

This place has gone downhill in the last couple of years. The coupon system is now online, but they do not have Internet access inside the building, and the scan discount system is always broken. The managers have no way to override to give the customer a discount. The store is always a mess and the employees are not professional. goodbye, Walgreens. Hello CVS

I was just trying to scan and download photos for printing at this store. The equipment wasn’t working and the TWO employees standing around talking in the photo department could not have been less helpful. When I asked the young woman if the scanner was working, her response was “have you tried it?” I had been sitting there trying to get it to work for several minutes a few feet away from her. She then suggested I try the other machine. Thirty minutes later, I gave up and asked to see a manager, only to find out the two rude people in the photo department were the managers. I won’t be back. Des Peres Walgreens runs circles around this location in every way.

This is the worst Walgreens in America. I sat in my car today for 30 minutes waiting for the pharmacy line to move. I’m sick so I don’t want to go inside and spread my illness. The checkout lines move at a sloth’s pace and the pharmacy techs catch an attitude with customers. GO TO CVS DOWN THE ROAD. Everyone that works at the CVS seems overqualified while everyone that works here seems under qualified.

They gave me a wrong prescription, but when I returned, they acted like it’s my fault, saying that the prescription I came for was already sold to me earlier. The two women who are working there at the pharmacy are completely not interested to help and never apologized for making a mistake. Thanks to a gentleman who got involved and found my real prescription in minutes without causing any drama, really appreciate it.

National Parks ship their problem bears off to far off forests to wreck havoc on other locales. I'm afraid Walgreens does the same with their employees. Unfortunately this Walgreens is the relocation site for all Walgreens' problems.Poor customer service. Poor information. Over seven times I've been told my Rx is ready just to show up to be told otherwise. But like a fool, I'll continue to frequent this location out of habit.

Today standing in a sole cashier line. 9 people in line. Cashier requested help. Eventually a person with an attitude came to the cashier and told her she was busy on a call. Then left! I asked if there was someone to help out and she said “nope”. After she left she yelled back that I could leave the line and follow her. No thanks. She was Red hair high pony mixed with a really bad attitude. This is not my experience here which is why it was remarkable.

I don't typically leave reviews but This Walgreens is the absolute WORST. Won't answer my phone call when trying to refill a prescription. Talked to the pharmacist on Sunday to have her refill my script. She ordered my medicine for me to be ready on Wednesday. No problem, I understand issues with certain medicines not being in stock. Called the day after it was supposed to be ready, and the medicine is back in stock, but they lost my prescription and can't give it to me. So now I have to call up my doctors office, and have them send in another prescription for me, which by that time, I'm sure my medicine will be out of stock again by the time it's processed. Thank goodness I don't take pain killers or anything with deadly withdrawals because I would be dead relying on this pharmacy to handle my prescription.
