This park has become one that I frequent often. Parking is super easy and it has never really been too busy to enjoy a nice walk around the trail. I really love how they have a path to follow with pages from a children's book so that as you walk the trail, you can also read a cute book! And the best part? They change the book often so I have been able to read a few different ones over the past few months. I enjoy the benches they have near the pond/lake (not sure what to call it) so that I can enjoy the view and watch the ducks swim around and every now and then I will see a turtle! They also have fish so people can catch and release which I think some people enjoy. There is even a snow cone place in the park (Trop Moose) near the playground area which I found with a friend recently. Overall, this is a large park with great trails, space to run around (for my dog) and a great little playground area for the kiddos. And they keep it clean and well maintained. Oh, and it looks like they even have a fun little water spout area for kids (and adults) to play in during the summer!

We love this park and come here frequently. The lake is beautiful. People frequently fish in the lake, which is fun to watch. Additionally, there are children play areas and book pages from a children's story all around the path so children can read as they walk. There are plenty of pokestops for my pogo people too.Playground: Safe area for children to play near the tennis courtsRestrooms: Multiple public restrooms throughout the parkPicnic area: Several wonderful picnic areas are available for reservations, including pavilions

Great park with lots of options. The size and all the options is why I only give it four stars. You’ll want to know which of the parking lots is nearest to your activity or purpose to avoid walking all over.

I attended the Greenlight festival, the area had booths, and it was filled with a big crowd. The lake with the dock looked good. Most of the area was filled with the booths, so giving any detailed information isn't feasible.Restrooms: Wheelchair accessible

Gorgeous park. The Lion's Amphitheater has built-in seating with backs! In the afternoon, the audience is facing the sun, so if you want shade, there's plenty of room to bring a lawn chair or blanket and still have an excellent view of the stage.

I responded with my email and phone number. A Realtor.com person called the next day and set me up with a realtor. She connected the realtor and I on the phone. The realtor said she would find out some info on the place and the questions that I asked. I never heard from her again. I went to Titan Homes in Candler to see if they were associated with the park and he told me that they are getting a lot of calls but they are not associated with the development. The other callers have been leaving messages and nobody calls back.I actually went by the place where they are putting the park. There is nothing there but some marked lots.Very upsetting! They shouldn't even post for a home for sale if they are not going to call back.

I went to help transport my grandkids for photos. While we were standing there a tree popped and cracked and fell. It wasn't near us, but it was exciting to see.

Pickleball was exhilarating. Enough things to do for the whole family. Time to get there before it's too cold.

Went to a concert there at the amphitheater, so wonderful. They have stadium seating, no need to bring a foldable chair

Love love love this park- have been coming to it since I was a little kid and I'm bringing my daughter to it now because it has something for everybody! Playgrounds, fields to run around in, tennis courts, a small pond, and all the pathways just to walk around and get some fresh air

Kirkwood park is a little gem of a park! It has a great walking trail around the lake that I throughly enjoyed. The children’s park is well maintained and the splash pad is fun for the kiddos. There are grill tables and picnics spots available for daytime use. We had snow cones in the park concessions. Easy access from the road.
