I made an appt and was called the day of, on the last day to file my taxes and was told i cannot be seen. i asked to speak to a manager and was told the agent “had no idea where her manager was at the moment” and that she can take my number and see if a manager can call me. agent was very rude and unprofessional.

Had a horrible experience here with Anne. Was called as I was pulling in to the parking lot to push my appointment back so she could fit another client in and ended up waiting another 30-40 minutes. I needed to amend my returns and my husband and I wanted to see if we could amend to filing jointly. When doing so caused us to owe a LOT instead of getting a return like we would have if we filed separately we asked if we could just amend my return only. Immediate attitude from Anne. After she deleted the info in the system she was unable to file the amended return anyway and told me “I’m still going to charge you the consulting fee because I just wasted an hour and a half of my time”. I was planning on paying anyway but she was incredibly rude about it. We were both told to just go ahead and use turbo tax. We’ve never used an actual tax person before and this was a terrible and expensive experience. If you’re able to, just use turbo tax.

Walked into the location and was referred to another associate for an issue I was having related to partnership returns. Mary helped me with the issue over the phone the next day and pointed me in the right direction. She was to the point and her advice got me out of a penalty I would have likely otherwise paid.

I am giving 3 starts only because my rep was super friendly and I believe she did the best she could with the information I had for my taxes.I did not get an estimate for the cost so I was SHOCKED when I had to pay $245 to get my taxes done. Holy moly, I could have spent $65 to do it on Turbotax or even $100 with a private accountant. I will not go back to H&R simply because the cost is outrageous.
