I just started using Giannini's Auto Service and I'm so glad I did. They are wonderful. I just had my car in for service because I'm taking it on a trip and thank goodness I took it to Giannini's. They did a complete trip check on my car and found several things that needed attention before I took it on a trip. They fixed everything in one day and provided me with a list of several fluids that should be replaced when I return from my trip. I've had my car checked before every trip I take but never checked as thoroughly as Giannini's did for me. They're been in business for a long time and their expertise and customer service is why. They are also great on communicating with their customers. I got a welcome letter after the first time they worked on my car along with a complete packet of their services and they keep me informed about when they would be finished with my car. Outstanding service!

Excellent service - explained in detail what work was needed, the cost and the expected time required to complete!
Repairs seem to have solved our issues- very satisfied, will definitely recommend Giannini’s!

Took two vehicles in two separate times for the first time to Giannini's for check engine light and other issues. It will be my last. They racked up many diagnostic and unreal service fees plus credit card service charge of 1.5% totalling $3300. Unfortunately, the check engine light is still on in both cars and my issues are not fixed.
Watch out for their Air Induction Test they run on every vehicle comes in for $300. It's absolutely useless. Their diagnostic tests are more of a joke than reality. They couldn't even tell where and what the problem is. Complete rip-off in my case.

BEWARE "SUGGESTED" ADD ONS. Took my car in for an inspection right as they opened. They told me it would be a few hours and they'd call me to pick it up. However not hearing from them all day I decided to call and they told me that it would be ready 15 to 30 minutes before they close for the day. No a big deal I just anticipated having my car for the later part of the day so some communication would've been helpful. When I went to pick my car up they suggested that I get an oil change even though I still have 4,000 miles left and got it changed 3 weeks ago. They also said I should consider a front dif flush, transfer case flush, and radiator flush. All of these things have already been taking care of within the last month so it really isn't necessarily despite what they told me. They also missed a coolant leak during their inspection. It's a pretty noticeable leak as you can smell it burning when the car is running and can see the hose where it's leaking from right near the reservoir.
Overall had an okay experience. I would've appreciated a phone call to let me know my car was going to take all day instead of a few hours. Just beware of their suggested add ons, they weren't needed at all for me so I'm really not sure why they were suggested.
