The quality was great. Their prices are insane. I tried them out after our local place closed. I gave them a tree skirt, two pairs of pants and 3 mens dress shirts. It was $74.70 I asked about table runners they said it was $20. $40 for the tree skirt. I thought I was taking crazy pills- I called American cleaners and they were charging $9.50 for a table runner and $13 for a tree skirt. When I asked gateway cleaners about this, they just said “we just price different” yeah, that’s your right, but it’s my right to think you’re insane and feel taken advantage of. And it’s absolutely my right to get my stuff cleaned somewhere else.

I went to have two suits, two shirts, and two dresses cleaned. When I got back to the car, I noticed the price at the bottom of the pick up receipt was over $100. I dashed right back in and said it was too much for me. The man assisting me was polite about the issue and returned my clothes immediately. I can't speak to the quality of the dry clean but the price seemed high.

I have been going for years!!! like maybe 10! they do a good job as most cleaners do but the price is crazy expensive. I didn't realize this until my last cleaning. 1 men's suit, 1 dress shirt and 1 long simple dress( no frills) it was $75. I called and was tile the dress was $49 and the suit was $20 I'm not going back.

Dropped off a race suit for cleaning and alterations. Got my suit back with a busted zipper. Owner refused to repair or pay to repair damages.

We utilized Gateway Cleaners after our wedding to take care of a couple dress shirts, a tuxedo, and a suit. All of that turned out satisfactory and for a fair price. No gripes whatsoever. This is where the 1 star review comes in. We also used them to dry clean (no preservation of any kind) a wedding dress and two cocktail dresses. The owner could not quote me a price, but we both agreed he would call before rendering services to confirm a price for the three dresses. No call was ever received by the owner to confirm pressing, despite them saying otherwise - if so, why not leave a voicemail instead of assuming the price is acceptable and confirming the pricing like we originally agreed. Come to find out they moved forward with the dry cleaning without confirming. This turned out to be roughly $700 for a wedding dress and two cocktail dresses. Google shows an average cost to dry clean a wedding dress is about $150-200, and dresses vary, but I would guess around $30-40 a dress, for a MAXIMUM of $280. The owner is looking to charge darn near 3x the average cost due to his negligence in confirming pricing of my wife’s dresses. He then has his employee call to offer me 5% off. Out of his mind. Still waiting my for a resolution while they hold the dresses. Sorry for my Karen rant, but I would avoid Gateway for any sort of dress cleaning.Service: Organic dry cleaning
