Each time I would call the post office to check on a package I would get an automated system.Seems that you can never talk to a live person anymore.

Receiving packages is always hit and miss. I had a pkg out for delivery today. One was put in my mailbox and the other was taken back to the post office and marked attempted contact and that I requested it be held at post office, I did not. I have been home all day. I wish they'd get people who will actually do their job CORRECTLY!!

We feel the kirksville PO is just great. If you have a special question, the postmaster will speak with you, the delivery people are very efficient, and the folks at the counter are friendly. We have no complaints. .

Not even good liars. Multiple times, have had important orders for our buisness that's tracking #s show out for delivery, only to not show up and tracking then changed to attempted delivery at blah blah time, unable to deliver. Clearly not when someone is here 24/7 & when our outgoing mail is still in mailbox with flag raised as had been last 10+ hrs.

The absolute worst USPS I've ever had the displeasure of relying on. I have had multiple packages lost, destroyed and misplaced. Even after contact with them, no resolution. I was sent emails reassuring me that it was being looked in to and they haven't responded since. I'm still waiting on info from a package sent to me over a year ago. I'm constantly getting notifications that my package wasn't delivered due to no access to my mailbox. What? My mailbox is always easily accessible. Horrible service and no one ever really handles the situation. They just ignore you

I agree with many of the comments here. Have faced many issues with mail delivery, customer service, and P.O. Box services. I've experienced, and watched other customers, be blatantly discriminated against and have the door shut in their face before closing time without the slightest bit of remorse. This location's only saving grace (other than being the only option in Kirksville) is the woman named Valerie who works at the counter; she is an angel! Not only has she always taken care of everything I've needed and gone above and beyond, but her presence in the building is calming and kind, in contrast to every other employee I've encountered. This office should be overhauled, however Valerie should be thanked gracefully, promoted to an easier, higher paying job, and certainly sought out by any customers visiting this post office.

I had a package shipped that clearly showed stickers that said 'Live insects Keep from heat/cold' They left it in my outside parcel box! It's 17° outside!! Needless to say, all my critters are dead and I'm quite angry about this!! Fail, postal lady!!

I was there about ten minutes before they closed. Just needed to drop off packages. The person in front of me took a long time, so I got to the counter right before they closed. I forgot to fully tape the label down. I left the tape in my car and asked to go get the tape. They refused to allow me to leave and come back in, even though the tape was right in my car. So I had to buy tape from them. Not a good experience at all

I spoke to the manager because a package had been returned to sender twice, now i havent gotten a single package or letter since, and instead i receive all my neighbors mail, almost like it's out of spite for having the nerve to clear things up with them. Later, 3 very important letters were sent at the same time to the same address and mine didnt appear, which cost me thousands of dollars.
