I spent almost two weeks here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was fresh and clean the whole time as far as I could tell. The staff really seem to care about making this a quality place and I think for being a budget place, it seems like a good value for the dollar and I think they could compete amongst budget hotels. If I'm going to be tough though, and push, I think the food was solid but nothing crazy. They have fresh fruit out all day every day which is really nice but the breakfast, although existent and with a solid array of options, is not the healthiest thing, with ready made biscuits and gravy (gravy that concerned me a little, health and quality wise), and some sausage and fluff eggs that are tasty and probably fine, but don't appear to be locally sourced nice organic eggs or anything like that, and probably some processed sausage. The yogurt is basic sugary affordable tasty stuff, but it could be healthier and more natural stuff, lol.. things like this..
Also, the exercise room was nice, but it could use a couple more dumbbells, and the treadmill failed, lol, although I think they got it back up and running which is cool (I'm not certain on that, but I know they at least took a look at it right away which is cool).
Then, in my room, although the a/c machine was great, it seemed that if you didn't keep it around 64 or lower, the humidity may seep in a little, which in this area, is something that can be uncomfortable.
The shower and water temperature regulation worked well, but the water pressure was maybe a little bit elevated in the shower..
I think overall amongst any hotel that a person could stay at, this is a solid and filled out 3 stars pushing 4 with the cleanliness and value.

I was amazed. The place sparkled it was so clean. The breakfast could have been better. Biscuit was hard and sausage was dry and tough, but scrambled eggs and gravy were delicious.

Customer service regarding booking reservations is terrible.
The process is not concerned with customer satisfaction.
No effort to make a reasonable accommodation regarding the reservation. Will not stay at this motel ever again.

Room smells like cigarette smoke. Their truck parking is a grassy area subject to being soft due to the rain so it's no good for heavy vehicles.
Walkability: No sidewalks.
Food & drinks: Plenty of options close.

Horrible customer service! No elevator and they can not help with bags! I have bad knees and can not do stairs on a regular much less with a backpack and over night bag. Now I have to sleep in my car, no refund and have no place to get ready for work. So so very disappointed.

Do not stay here unless u like donating $176. Management kept my deposit and trespassed me from the property. Kirksville police department is in on it with him so u have recourse if u stay here. They will steal your $. Outlets in the room don't work, breakfast had sour milk, and looked like rat feces in the waffle mix. I woke up with lots of red bites.
Rooms: I work up with red sores on my body.

DO NOT STAY HERE VERY SHADY ! ! ! Booked a room for some of our guys for a job we canceled 1 week before and they still charged our card! They said whoever was working the desk reopened the reservation and let someone else stay on our dime! SO DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE !

Only hotel that had openings for 2 nights with 2 beds and 2 rooms side by side. We saw 3 small roaches in the bathroom with the light left on all night. It was supposed to be sprayed by professional exterminator, but nothing was done by the staff, and they would not give us a discount. Very disappointing ?

Great place to stay when out of town for work and conveniently located across from a Walmart and off a major highway. Will definitely be staying here moving forward.
