Customer service was very friendly at check in. Rooms a ok. Nothing fancy or extravagant but clean and comfortable. I'd stay again when in town.

Room was cold enough we wore coats for 3 hrs before room warmed up enough we could remove coats. Bathroom had no heat available. No coffee in room, no breakfast as advertised, Outside individual door entry to our room. Although it did serve the purpose for sleeping.

It's right off of business 63 on south end of town. It's about 1 mile south of Truman state. There are better quality places near by, but if everything else is full knights inn is a great last resort option.
Nearby activities: There is a dog park a block or 2 away, and diner 54 and Coltons steak house are within walking distance, both places are very good. Truman state is a mile, maybe less away, on a nice day it would be a nice walk there. The medical and dental school are about 1.5 miles away, the same for downtown square. The dental and medical school are just a couple blocks west of the square, and on a nice day walking from the knights inn wouldn't be that bad, but I'd recommend you drove.

Clean, friendly, convenient, and under-appreciated! I am a local, and my air conditioner went out just as a heat dome settled over MO. I have two small, older dogs and had to start looking for a place to stay where I could have my boys.I had definitely overlooked this place. Chose to come here because I could afford to stay here through the very hot days, and I was left with a good impression when I called to ask about pets. After arriving, I was impressed at every turn, and SO glad I chose Knight's Inn. The rooms have a front door and a door that opens into a court-yard like common area. This was PERFECT for quick trips outside with the dogs, we did not have to walk across the parking lot or be near any cars at all. When we did go out the front, the dog park is just across the street. The helpful, welcoming phone call was typical of the friendliness of staff throughout my stay. So nice to smile and wave at the owner and their family when I was in the courtyard with my dogs. It's a nice vibe to feel a part of the little community during my stay. Rooms are HUGE, plenty of room to play and work. The interiors/fixtures are clean and well-maintained. Old, yes, but I find the bathroom mid-century modern cabinetry pretty cool. Easy access to the universities and downtown. Highly recommend!

Staff was so friendly and helpful. After our stay they found my purse in the parking lot in the rain and called immediately. The room was super clean and spacious. We WILL be staying here every time we come to visit. It's a tad outdated but we don't need that. It's a basic room with no frills but it was comfortable. Our stay was a very pleasant surprise. For the price we were expecting a different experience. Lol

For the price, I'll call it the best motel in the area. Service was excellent and rooms were comfy and clean. Only gripe I have is some of the mattresses were way too hard for my back. Other than that it was perfect, as I was rarely there because I was there for a job we had.
