A wonderful shelter with kind, helpful employees and volunteers. Kirksville has a surprising number of stray cats and they do an excellent job of providing a home. We adopted our cat, Oliver, from here right after moving here. It was nice being able to sit and meet all the cats before we took one home. The shelter offered to let us borrow a cat carrier to take him home in (which was nice because we didn’t expect to take one home that day!) and the adoption fees were lower than we expected.

The best place to get yourself a new member of the family in Kirksville. I volunteered here a few months ago and it was the greatest time of my life. Everybody working/volunteering there is so nice and caring towards the animals. Please go adopt some of the cuties!
