The attendee was kind and the bed was comfortable.BUT, the shower head didn't work, the drain didn't drain, the sink leaked all over when turned on, and there were stains covering the bedding (sheets and bedspread) and two of the pillows. Once I decided to get into the bed it was comfortable.

Terrible customer service. The front desk attendant could barely speak English. That's a necessity in order to communicate with your customers. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet didn't even flush. It just filled up with water and then drained slowly. There was a wet towel and a bar of soap, already opened, laying on the sink. Last, but not least, stock up on what's supposed to go in the room when it's cleaned. Just because you provide a safe, it doesn't mean you can skip out on the normal things that should be provided in every room.

When planning a trip to Mizzou, we were excited to see a hotel on our way with cheap rooms, however, after staying at this super 8, I can say without a doubt that 1 the price was too high for what we got and 2, I will never be staying with super 8 again. To start, everything in and out of the room is musty and has a faint smell of stale cigarettes. Our TV didnt work. Our ac didnt work well enough to even remotely cool the room. The chair at the desk was riddled with white stains across the cushion. The floors were riddled with stains. The bed frame was riddled with a wide variety of stains. The bed came with no blankets, and the sheets looked like they hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom lacked towels and the shower was dirty. One light worked and the other fixtures was barely hanging from the ceiling. The only redeeming factor was the nice receptionist who was scrambling to accommodate guests in this sad excuse of a hotel. He seemed like he was doing his best to make do with this trainwreck. Filth is king here. I personally considered sleeping in my van. In the future, I will be booking a different hotel when traveling to Columbia and avoiding the super 8 in kingdom city like the black plague ( which you might catch if you sit on the toilet there).

The hotel was dirty. It looked like the junk and food on the floor in the breakfast room had been there for ages. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke even thought it is non smoking. The room was ok but bitter cold or boiling hot. There were two beds and only one blanket. The mattress was ok and the small pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. One towel in the bath was pretty and white. The other looked like it has been used to wash the floors. But I know that was not true as the floors were gross. There were just the two small bath towels. I guess it is true that you get what you pay for. I chose this hotel again because we had stayed there in the past and it was a great place. Not true any more.

Not even a one. First room was very dusty and smoke detector was beeping, along with 3 light bulbs burned out. Second room I looked at was dusty but not as bad as the first. Third room, the carpet was disgusting, bag of discarded chips and alarm clock on floor behind nightstand. We stayed but will not stay here again. I normally do not write bad reviews, however I have nothing good to say about this place.

Sink and bed had hair all over both. Could tell the bed had been used. Moved to the only other room available, even though there were hardly any other guests in the building. There was dried pee on the toilet seat, floor not vacuumed and the towels looked used. Would definitely NOT reccomend staying. The service desk clerk even stated he does not trust the house keeping. Great breakfast though.

I have stayed here several times over the past 10 years or so as I travel the country for my job and the condition of the property has steadily declined. The rooms are not updated, carpet is dirty, stained, with burn holes. The non smoking rooms still smell of stale smoke. Overall the housekeeping is not the best. The price is about the only good thing left here.

Very small, nice motel. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good place to stay when going to Columbia or Jefferson City.Short on power outlets in rooms for charging devices.Only accessible from east outer road. Must make first turn South of I-70. Do not attempt turning around on southbound US 54. Heavy traffic makes this dangerous. Continue to Fulton, then turn.Note: minimal hot breakfast.

Front desk is friendly. Our room was king-size bed, clean, quiet. The continental breakfast was amazing. Several choices, waffles, cereal, yogurt and fruit cups, and different drinks- coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate, along with orange and apple juice. I think it was 66.00 including tax. Great choice for overnight stay!!

Using one of the online services, we got a very good price for a room here. However, once we got there, we discovered why it was so cheap. There are no screens on a 3rd floor room, on a window that is low enough someone could fall out! The decor was probably very nice, 30.years ago. At this point, it was barely standing. There was an area on the tub/shower enclosure, against the wall, where the fiberglass was deteriorating and had sharp edges. There were soft areas on the floor where we were concerned about it breaking through. The floor, sink, and walls all had stains on them, too.The TV remotes (yes, plural - needed TWO to work the TV) didn't work, and the one they brought to replace it only worked half the time. AND they didn't have BBC America, and during a Doctor Who marathon leading up to the new series premiere! On top of that, I was literally watching one channel that - during the show - DISAPPEARED, and I couldn't get it back! Absurd! If you like to watch TV, I would suggest staying elsewhere. In fact, if you enjoy a nice view, unstained surroundings, a solid floor, or a nice room, be prepared to pay more for a room elsewhere. All I can say is that the room did have beds, a chair, and a restroom that worked.

This place is disgustingly filthy. I rented a room for the night and expecting what anyone would walking into there room, A CLEAN ROOM! I was completely let down. Not only was the floor covered in remnants of previous guests, their urine was dried to the toilet which looks like it's been at least a month since someone took a toilet brush to it, their soap scum dried to the shower walls and dirt still on the floor of the tub, their toothpaste spit stuck all over the faucet and sink, 3 little pillows rolled up in balls on the bed, a busted a/c unit with torn black duct tape over the front of it, and the icing on the cake was the old coffee pouch left in the coffee maker with a drty water reservoir. I went down to the front desk and brought all of this to the young man's attention. He apologized and offered me a different room. After I looked at the new room, I quickly realized it was just as filthy. I pointed each thing out to him. He apologized again and showed me another room. Again, filthy with even more urine on the toilet seat and the sink had some grime stuck to it on top of the dried toothpaste spit. I walked out of the room and filed a complaint with corporate and am waiting for their response. This was completely disgusting and by far the dirtiest place I've ever stayed. Stay clear of this place. Do yourself the favor. I will add that while I was on the phone with corporate, the young man quickly wiped down the sink in a different room and came out to tell me that he just cleaned a room for me. I went in, yes it was a bit cleaner, but there was still urine stuck to the toilet seat and dirt on the floor. I've added photos for your viewing pleasure.

Super friendly staff, very clean rooms, good WiFi and cheap rates. Didn't try the breakfast but I got 20% off at Denny's with my room key so hey. Only complaint about the room was the comforter (I use the term loosely, it was practically a second sheet) other than that I would rate this place highly.

I had a great experience at this hotel. After a few bumps in the road so to speak and speaking to Susan and Scott my problem was solved. Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and very cold air. I would recommend anyone to stay in this Super 8. Susan very knowledgeable about any questions I had about the area and informed of all discounts for certain restaurant. Scott really cares that all his guest are extremely happy.

Not much for having to climb stairs up 2 levels. The room is very dated, the room smelled of smoke even though it was marked nonsmoking, (the smoke alarm was covered with plastic). Seemed to take forever for the shower to heat up. The heater was messed up, the casing kept falling off, and the controls were loose and awkward to pick the right setting. The vending machines are way over priced. The laundry was expensive and the dryer barely worked.

My wife and I stopped here after having a bad experience on the road involving a hospital visit. The beds were comfy, and she loved it! Didn't get to try the continental breakfast or the pool/hot tub unfortunately. SO i can't give it 5 stars just because we didn't explore all the features.
