A neat shop with antisocial service. I found several books to buy. The clerk forbade us from petting the dog wandering around the shop saying she's grossed out by the idea of all the customer germs on the dog. The dog wanted to be petted and was friendly, and we were scolded for allowing the dog to touch a person when the dog leaned against my friend.

Cute little bookstore! Wonderful and respectful staff who are willing to have a conversation! Good selection, not enough Stephen King, but there never is...Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and a great little spot to spend an afternoon!

I love that this local bookstore supports local authors! I'm hoping once I finish my book I'll be worthy of a spot on their shelves. I remember the first time I saw Wise Blood, I pulled over immediately! I have bought everything from pins, socks, pencils, journals, and of course books from here! I love this local book store. I've been given some great recommendations on new reads by the staff and I've always had a great shopping experience here. I stopped by today for the new Ghibli merch, but plan on going again soon for some book basket Christmas gifts I'm putting together.

my roommate and i decided to check out wise blood after going through a list of local bookstores to support for independent booksellers day. i was extremely impressed by the safety measures they were taking, such as a sign specifying that masks must cover the wearer's mouth AND nose (a simple thing that most people don't seem to do), a bottle of sanitizer at the door, and making sure there were no more than 10 people inside the building at all times. aside from that, the selection was also fantastic. i can usually skim through small bookstores and be out in five to ten minutes without anything catching my eye but i spent a solid thirty minutes in there because there were so many excellent and tempting selections. the employee (not sure if she was the owner or not?) was incredibly friendly and helpful, chatting with me a bit about a couple of books written by a non binary author (i am non binary myself and always looking to support fellow LGBTQ+ writers). i will ABSOLUTELY return to wise blood, and highly recommend it to everyone.
