Came at 12:45 on a Friday and they’re closed even with hours stating 12-4 Monday-Friday. Nothing online about a closure, says it’s open.

Samantha if you knew your local post office, you would know that this location doesn't have a self service machine so know what you are talking about before complaining.. The guy who works there works at 2 different locations and is extremely nice even when the customers are extremely rude to him.He is awesome and friendly...I only come to this post office because of him

Worst post office in kansas city, unhelpful and rude man who does not wear a uniform working there. Went to the office on 63rd street and had a pleasant experience.

It says the hours are 12:00-4:00. I arrived at 12:32 and nobody was there and the door was locked so I couldn’t even use the self service- despite there being a bold statement of “this door to remain unlocked during operating hours”. This is extremely frustrating, and I would give zero stars if possible.

Had a worker threaten to fight me for arguing that USPS should pay for a package I’d sent out that was shipped back to me instead of going where it should have. Had been told by Customer Service over the phone that it would be covered and to get them on the phone if there were issues. Went to another USPS instead (Brookside) and had zero issues sending it back out. Brookside gets an A+ while this gent/USPS gets a F for threatening customers and refusing to right USPS’ wrong.

Is there a surer sign we are living in a failed state? This post office is literally never open. I’ve walked up here three times this week and it is closed - no signage, no nothing.

Unfortunately staffing and business hours are still an issue here after all these years. There is only one person ever working so the post office can't open if he is not able to come in. But hes very friendly and efficient so I don't mind too much, I'm happy to see him when the location is open and it's a bit inconvenient when it's closed. I do wish they would hire some help for him there since this location is in a very convenient spot for me
