My daughter got her wisdom teeth removed on a Monday, she got an infection in her stitches afterwords, and we have had to come back 3 times. Every time we have waited over an hour after our appt time. I'm sitting here now an hour and 45 min later with no one coming in. They are understaffed and over booked for this office. It's a bit ridiculous.

When trying to make a psychiatric appointment, they treat you awful. They send you to empty phone numbers, once you call them, you get sent to voicemail and hopefully, maybe, once in a blue moon, they actually call you back. If they DO call you back, they act as if it's *your* fault that their communication is so bad. And if you get an appointment, hope to whatever being is out there that the doctor is in. Otherwise, they reschedule your appointment for a month out. And the cycle repeats. Would like to know what their care is like, because appointments are impossible to schedule. :(

James Floyd. This is the name of the gentleman sitting alone at a desk next to an elevator by the Emergency Department. This employee was the epitome of customer service. Called six different locations in the hospital to help me locate someone. His service was exemplary. Excellent service can make a difficult situation better.

I love my doctors but cannot STAND billing. I will get a bill for the visit and a separate bill for the doctor MONTHS after the visit and they don't even come at the same time so I think I have a bill paid and then another rolls in... It's ridiculous. My final straw was today. I got notice of a outstanding balance FROM OCTOBER in March. I had to wait due to an emergency to pay it until now (April) and when I went online to pay it was showing $0. I called to confirm and was told they sent it to collections. So it takes them FIVE MONTHS to even notify me of an outstanding balance but they send said balance to collections within a month of me being notified? I'm done with University Health billing processes. It's not your doctors that have me leaving, it's billing. I will be transferring all care elsewhere immediately.

1 bad Apple DOES spoil it for the whole bunch. Second floor SUZI AT the ccu nurses station is THE WORST!!!!!!!!!! After meeting other staff... its not them!!!! It's that bitch! I gave 3 stars because of the other staff. I want to give 1 star! My sister is on life support there. I called once I found out to ask for the status of my sister because my mom was not able to speak after she heard. SUZI answered the phone. I asked if I could have my sister status? Second floor SUZI said SHE'S NOT HERE AND DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN! And hung up on me. How can you be a nurse and be that..... IGNORANT, UNPROFESSIONAL, HURTFUL, DISRESPECTFUL AND UNCARING! I say that because I cried all night! I called again the next day and was VERY kind because I needed to know my sisters status. I got the same shit! I don't know this CHIC... but she is in the WRONG PROFESSION. She should work at the DMV or better yet a PRISON!!! OR out in the wild away from humans.

I went to an appointment today with a friend at UH BH. The lady that interviewed my friend for services was Sharon Sanders. Omg what a wonderful young lady she was showing compassion, a willingness to help, and joy in doing her job. She made good eye contact and genuinely showed she cared. The service was not for me but I left encouraged for my friend and myself. If I ever need MH services now I know a great place to get help. People don't care how much we know until they Know how much we Care.

This is the worst hospital I have ever seen in my life, really very dirty and there are a lot of homeless people in the emergency.

First off I had surgery on my kidney and probably should have rested the days I was in the hospital.however you put me into a room where a hard of hearing patient was.everytime I dosed off someone was in there screening so dozing off then someone screaming over and over again is irritating I was mad my care should have mattered I don't feel like it did. The second shift and third shift nurses did awesome was not thrilled with day shift when called hardly ever came thena lady would come in and not be able to help when they were sending me home they left the thing on my leg that held the cathader hose the ivthingin my hand never got taken out until I was in the wheelchair dressed coat on ready to go My care should have mattered I don't feel like it did

Worst experience on seeing a patient being treated. I understand that i don't know the whole story but I was at the top floor waiting for an appointment and I look out the window and saw a women had fallen and tons of people were surrounding her doing nothing. 30min later EMS finally came but with no truck. They walked from the main campus to the surgery center with two guys and a stretcher. (Keep in mind i'm at UH1 not the main hospital.) This was shocking to see and everybody moved nonchalantly about it. Don't be a patient here!!

I hate hospitals be half the time they dont do their jobs and are rude , they just tell you anything then send you on your way . I definitely could have stayed home bu my recent experience within a week ago was trash . The RN look like she just took a hit of meth I couldn't believe she was an RN because she seemed lost and over talkative about nothing. She made a comment about African Americans when trying to find their vein to take blood on the father ones I'm assuming . I can't quote exactly what she said but it was ignorant because a lot of us aren't dark and the dark ones like myself it has never been no issue finding a vein as she clearly seen that and that area is lighter like people are just old miserable envious & hateful. She probably couldn't bi I was older than her but that's that Melanin always popping. I couldn't believe she was younger than me when she told me her age. Finally the residency Doctor made his way to me just clueless , I get he had more rooms than he probably could handle but still don't just get one diagnosis and send a patient home clueless or getting another opinion. Weird Not to mention Covid swab test was done by the patient but someone will say oh yeah that's totally fine . Do better TMC

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY. they do not care about you and are seemingly out to hurt you for insurance money purposes. (quick summary- they "forgot" one of my teeth, i choked on my own blood multiple times and they refused anesthetic and knowingly didn't numb me completely on one side and ignored my screams of pain.) at my first consultation for my oral surgery, i explained i've had many surgeries since childhood that were traumatic and so i'd like to be put under anesthetic (like most people are) and i was told no and laughed at like a child because of a genetic mutation i have when i had 6 surgeries before this and my mutation has NEVER been a problem. the older white doctor talked to me like a child and laughed off every concern i had to the point i had a panic attack in the office and was then told i'm too old to cry and talked to like a child. oh, and the nurse joked about how he used to steal his sisters oxycontin after her wisdom tooth surgery. pretty professional huh? not to mention that everywhere i went the staff was acting loud and obnoxious and extremely unprofessional and openly talking bad about other staff and patients. i was told at the consultation, which my roommate heard, that i would be provided with laughing gas before the routine numbing shots to ease my anxiety that way i wouldn't be having a panic attack the whole time. then on the day of my surgery i was laughed at and talked to like a child again and straight up got told no. and that if i wanted i could "inhale oxygen to make me feel better" which literally does NOTHING and he was laughing while saying it. mind you this was an extremely invasive and painful procedure for me because my teeth were in my nerve. then i get two different people, man and woman for my surgery. they keep trying to start the surgery while i'm mid panic attack. they also DID NOT numb my face all the way on the right side which i told them multiple times and they blatantly ignored me. i verbally said it many times and then cried and screamed while getting the teeth extracted on that side because i was trying to communicate how badly it hurt and i was ignored. the most i would get is an "okay, kylie." this was the male doctor. the female doctor repeatedly sprayed water on my face, somehow got tooth on my face and somehow kept getting stuff on my forehead and laughing about it, and at one point i was choking on my own blood and spit and screaming/crying/coughing loudly for about 5 minutes and she refused to suck up any spit or anything and i was ignored yet again. to top it off- they "forgot" my upper left tooth knowing that i lose my health insurance on the first of next month which is only a few days away. these people only care about your money. please find somewhere else to go if you're fortunate enough to do that. in the meantime i will be taking legal action for this. i can't begin to describe how upset and baffled i am by the situation, and now i'm going to have a tooth i can't afford to take out...
