Very kind staff, well stocked. It's one of the hardware stores the is old fashioned and that's exactly what we need. Theyve got the bits and bobs you're looking for amd theor staff knows the store like the back of their hands. It's fantastic.

I might have already left a review but they deserve another one if I did. They sell kerosene at the pump which is literally the difference between life and death for me in the winter and just nice to know where to get it any other time too. The guy that pumps it is really nice and I just really appreciate this store

I’m a general contractor and shop here a couple of times a week. From window repair to water meter fittings and everything in between, I highly recommend Midland Hardware for any project you start (and need help finishing) on an older house in KC. I NEVER ask for help in a big box store. I climb shelves when I need something, grab one of their ladders on wheels, or use their apps to find a product. Best case scenario, the help at Home Depot avoids you; worst case, they give you misinformation or send you on a wild goose chase for a product you’re looking for. At Midland, I’m always greeted and taken to the product location. They can also order whatever you need. It takes longer to park than to find and buy what you need (you’re in-and-out). One of their floor clerks was my neighbor for seven years when I lived a couple of blocks away. I moved but will continue to shop there as long as Nick owns it.

This Midland Hardware offers great public service, and is a very friendly place to shop. The owner, Nick, goes above and beyond to serve his customers. It is a family atmosphere, and it is very service oriented.

I don't think I've ever spend more than 10 minutes here because someone is always there to help as soon as I walk in. Whether it is a custom or standard project I am completing, they help me out and usually have what I need or know where to find what I need.
