“I would like to thank the gentleman of Halls Repair. When you take your car to certain auto shops for oil changes, I won't say any names. They seem to give you a list of problems that you need to fix on your car. Two times I've received this repair list. I didn't trust that they were honest with the work that they said my car needed because I take good car of my car. I have taken my car to Halls Repair several times so i'm familiar with their work and I have found them to be an honest shop. Which is something that I can not say about the shop I took my car to get the oil change. I took my car to Halls and they checked out everything that the other shop said I needed and everything was fine with my car I just needed a front end ailment. Which is to be expected because of the way kcmo take care of there streets repavement. I'm so glad that there is still a repair shop that I can trust. And I have found Halls Repair is trustworthy. “I have patronized this business for my automotive needs, and have found them to be courteous and professional. The mechanics do what they do best. On the other hand, this is really only a "one-star" review as to the way they do business. I like my cars. I try to take good care of my cars, because they take good care of me. My cars and I have a good relationship. When my cars aren't feeling well, I take them to the car doctors for help. When my cars are getting treated for ailments I don't mind waiting patiently for them to get better no matter the time that it takes. I make an appointment for them to get fixed. Sometimes the appointed time is four or five days later, maybe two weeks later, it doesn't matter. I expect to show up for my appointed time and have my cars looked at shortly thereafter. It seems that there are car repair shops that overbook appointments and tell you to drop off your car, and then get to it whenever they want to, at their convenience. I would not make an appointment at the doctors office for one of my family members and have them say "just drop them off and we'll call you when we're through with them", and have them sit there idly for hours on end before they can even get looked at. When I make an appointment, I expect action within a reasonable time. Isn't that why "appointments" are made? Isn't that what appointments are all about? If I have an appointment time, make it as close as possible to the time when you can actually get to it. Don't tell me to "bring it in in the morning when we open and drop it off" As hard as it is to believe, there are some automotive businesses that 'don't' do business that way.”

Manager Shawn and his Techs are very helpful and knowledgeable about any questions or concerns that a Customer may have. You can trust them with any maintenance that your car may require. They have done such an excellent job with my car, thar I will be taking all of my cars to them when it's only them that may have the expertise of handling my car needs. As a matter of fact I had to have my car maintenance both by them and Thoroughbred at the same time for different reasons, but I was very pleased at both, simply because I feel like I have a team of people who really care about the health of any Customers cars maintenance.”
