As a genx I have enjoyed Miss Tomlin event planning. I was able to enjoy the bounce houses, the yard cards to display the celebration. I appreciate her details to the events

Not the best daycare my daughter has been to but they did activities for holidays which was nice to witness. My daughter hasn’t had the best time there. I pulled her out once she came home with her hair pulled out of her head. The teachers knew nothing of it. There was a bug (virus) going around the school with no protocols put in place. Just a place to drop your kid off, but safety isn’t the owners main concern. It’s just the money. She scolds all parents through the Procare app like theyre children. There’s a 9:30 cut off time, which is funny because there’s no curriculum being taught. I would understand if there was a schedule they tend to. You have to pay tuition a week in advance. Everyone uses the same door code and doesn’t check ID’s during pick up. They let my friend pick up my daughter without a question, they even opened the door for him. Being his first time there, they didn’t care. Just pick up the kid ig.

Tomlin Academy has been a community staple for sometime, focusing on the most precious part of the community-Children. Youth in these programs are taught in multiple ways in order to captivate all learning styles. if you are in the market for early child development, consider Tomlin Academy.

The school is really big, and could be used for multiple grades! Though it's really sad that the Director hasn't given the school all that she's got. She uses a free-for-all teaching style; meaning no lesson plans or curriculum. This leaves the teachers to their own devices and you can tell which teachers are just daycare providers versus actually trying to give their students knowledge. They have the infants, before one year, watching videos. the twos have no language development, and any age above just runs around all day. every time I walk in any classroom The workers will be on their phone or on a laptop not paying attention, or giving any initiative to the children. If you're not looking for your children to have lesson plans in able to develop themselves physically, mentally, or emotionally then this is your school! The workers are in and out creating an environment that's unstable and never consistent. Listen to the reviews even if they're old!!Because to this day I have not seen a change. For workers… there has been 5 people in and out of the infant/ones rooms so be careful starting here.

Tomlin academy sets a idea of what they want to be to parents. They in no way hold that standard. At first glance and when no problem arise Miss Tomlin presents herself very well and holds herself to a great standard but does no hire or is unable to keep employees that are at the same standard as herself. Extremely unprofessional in aspect of when a parent has a concern. Does not take children being sick serious at all and seem to just care about money, as stated to parents one week "I need payment, today is pay day and tuition is how I pay my employees" as if a parent doesn't know some of the tuition is for the wages of employees. My child was enrolled there for about 2 months and no one new her actual name and when told her nickname still chose to incorrectly say her full name. Overall out of every center I've encountered Tomlin academy was the most pitiful school I've seen/been too. Some state it's the best around town. Now that is if you consider them to inner city or lower income areas which is were it falls but for the price you can find 10x better education for your child. I could go on and on but I'll spare your time. Run run as fast as you can. Invest in your children else where because this is NOT the place for proper education.

My kids loved it here. Upon leaving my son was completely ready for kindergarten. His kindergarten teacher was truly impressed by his level of mastery. He was definitely prepared for school.

Ms. Tomlin is a dedicated, caring, enthusiastic person. She cares about everything and everyone that has some type of involvement with her facility. This isn’t a daycare that just watches your kids, it’s a learning experience that invest in your child’s future.

The atmosphere is incredibly unprofessional, and the founder, Miss Tomlin, is too busy to care if teacher needs are met. I worked there for a very short amount of time and in that whole time I had no training, in addition to teacher/kid ratios always being off, and not being given the opportunity to do what I was hired to do. They also accept kids who are obviously sick so they infect other kids and the teachers.Heaven forbid something happens to your kid, because they don't know their own students last names, and are missing important (ie, emergency contact and so forth) information on the kids, so even if they knew the kids whole name, they might be missing the paperwork. Nothing has been digitized and the founder had (when I was there) no intention of moving that way in the foreseeable future. The place is a nice idea, but nothing gets done around there.

Tomlin Academy offers a welcoming academic atmosphere with staff that’s always ready to communicate. I loved hosting Activate Education LLC at this center with such a supportive environment for learning, playing, and growing.

My daughter attended Tomlin Academy from 2 y.o. until kindergarten. I couldn't be happier with the education provided to her there. By time she went to elementary school she was reading! Counting in spanish and more. Even now being in 1st grade she talks how she misses the school and Ms. Tomlin. My daughter was nervous her first day of kindergarten. Ms Tomlin gave her a surprise visit a lunch to ease her nerves. Thats someone who truly cares about her scholars. I can't wait to send my son here.
