“We just had our 2012 Toyota Prius C serviced at Sallas Auto Repair and had a MARVELOUS experience! From start to finish, it was a true pleasure dealing with everyone on staff.
We received estimates from our usual shop (that does not specialize in Toyotas) and contacted Sallas for a second opinion. Jeramiah handled our case and was able to provide a very reasonable estimate for the work. He was friendly, patient with our questions, and very knowledgeable regarding the amount of labor and parts needed to complete the repairs.
Scheduling our appointment was super easy; I simply sent Jeramiah an email regarding our best available days and times, and we were able to settle on a good date within the week.
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and check-in was fast and efficient. The team wasn't sure how long the repairs would take, but promised to contact us as soon as possible with an approximate pick-up time. Sure enough, Jeramiah called within 4 hours to let us know all the repairs were done and they were finishing up the alignment process. He carefully and fully explained the work done at that time. He called again (within 30 minutes) once the car was ready for pick-up and gave us a final review of the vehicle's performance. We appreciate the fast service, especially given the extent of the work!
When we arrived to pick up the car, Kelly assisted us in check-out. She was friendly and efficient and very gracious. We were able to pay with a personal check (not always the case at car shops), which we appreciated. The cost ended up being competitive or better than other auto shops we'd researched.
We're glad that AAA has given their stamp of approval to Sallas Auto Repair. They are a quick, friendly, professional, and clean shop, and deserve the recognition. Jeramiah even took the time to contact us after the fact to let us know the AAA discount had been applied to our account. “This review is related to a same-day review of a Big O Tires store in Columbia, MO.
After receiving a new tire at 8:40 a.m. on 8/9/24, I drove home, then to KC without issue. About 11:20 a.m., the low pressure indicator light came on. Around 1:45 p.m., I visited this Big O Tires store, described my previous visit and handed off the related paperwork and receipt for my tire replacement at the previous store. Within 15 minutes, it was determined the sensor needed to be reset and all tire pressures were checked and appropriate for my vehicle.
Shannon is the Big O Tires representative who demonstrated what excellent customer service is. He and others in this store were respectful, patient, attentive, and professional in every possible manner. This wasn't a "what I expected" experience. They proved great customer service isn't dead and the little things matter.
Big O Tires had two wins about 6 hours and 140 miles apart, on the same day, with the same customer. I'm very happy.”

Update 8/27/24. I am doubling down on my 5 star review. There were manufacturing defects on my suspension; however, KC Custom staff went out of their way to address the problem. “Was day 4 coming from CA to Farmington, Mo. with my two kitties in cat crate. Hit a freaking huge pothole on I29 south. Got stuck in the grossest Motel 6 imaginable due to it being 4th of July and nobody nearby was open. (I also was not familiar with the area). Googled tire shops open near me the next morning - Purcell was very close. Very glad that I found them as the employee showed up about 15 minutes early to work and the office manager Shannon showed up shortly after. They got me taken care of pretty quick, shop is clean, well organized, all the employees are friendly and their customer service is hands down fantastic! This was literally the trip from hell for me, I really feel like they turned it around at the end.
