This place is beautiful, the staff is excellent and the products they sell are choice. I went in not knowing how I wanted my hair cut and walked out with the best hair cut off my life. 5 stars all the way. I will go back and I do recommend it.

I went to Mikayla to get my hair fixed from a previous cut and my experience was beyond exceptional. She was absolutely amazing, honest, real and super easy to work with. The vibe of the salon is super relaxed and quaint and so enjoyable. I am beyond impressed and cant wait to return and glad I found my new stylist!

I had such a lovely experience getting my hair done for my wedding at the Hair Parlor. Mikayla is so sweet and talented – she made me feel like the beautiful bride I'd hoped to be. Jamie and Stella are absolute gems and made me and my bridal party feel absolutely at home the whole morning. I couldn't recommend the Hair Parlor more!! The people are rockstars, the location is wonderful, plus the space is super cute!! 10/10 ïŠ

I went here to get my make up done before my wedding, when I inquired about an appt I mentioned I wanted something super natural and simple. The woman who did was SUPER patient with me and my friends who were there helping me get ready for my wedding upstairs but ultimately hi was unsuccessful in communicating what I was looking for or what I wanted. I walked away feeling unlike myself and my mother even said afterward she was worried it was a little like geisha make up. I'm giving 2 stars because the make up artist really did try to listen but I don't know if it just wasn't the right place. I also feel like she had a very limited amount of tones for foundation which was part of why it ended up so off. I guess I would recommend doing a test but it just seems so expensive to do a test and then to also pay for it again. I feel compelled to leave a review because it is so evident in all of my photos

Lexi is AMAZING! I've been going to her since I moved to KC (about a year ago). I always feel at ease in her chair because she gives so much attention to detail while cutting and coloring! I've loved every experience I've had with her! Love the atmosphere of the Hair Parlour in general as well. Everyone is always so welcoming and fun, and they all have so much knowledge about other amazing local shops to check out. It's clear that they care about the community and the client experience!

No matter who I see here, the warmth and the hair services are always superb! As someone who travels A LOT, it doesn't always make sense to get my hair done in Kansas City but the results are too good and stylists too friendly and sweet to bother going elsewhere - I just let it keep growing til I can get back!
