Joey and Lyric at the bar were phenomenal. They were so friendly and even though they were being reviewed by their leadership they never lost their cool. They made the business trip I was on so relaxing. I would definitely come back just to see Joey and Lyric!

Our stay was fantastic at The Fontaine! Our rooms were immaculate, the staff is incredible, and the location is to die for. Major major shoutout to Joey and Nolan who tended bar in the rooftop lounge!! Y’all made us feel so welcomed to the city and next time we come back, we’re coming to see y’all first!!! We always stay at The Fontaine anytime we are in KC. The service is incredible. Michael, at the front desk, has been working the last couple of times we stayed. He is always kind, helpful and professional. Honestly, every staff member we encounter is courteous, friendly and has a positive attitude. The staff is truly excellent.The hotel itself is beautiful! We have stayed there a handful of times and we always end up in room 701. It's a lovely room with a beautiful view. Even our 4-year old daughter enjoys our trips to The Fontaine! The room, and the hotel, is always very clean. The location is awesome and we always end up walking along the river, as well as walking to local restaurants and shops nearby.We have only positive things to say about The Fontaine and the amazing staff. Highly recommend - you will most definitely enjoy your time there!

We had a great experience with Kayla in the Snow Globe. She checked in with us often, and kept the drinks and the food flowing as we ordered it. The Globe was well stocked - complimentary hot chocolate was waiting for us, as was a space heater and warm blankets. We also loved the Bluetooth speaker to play some tunes. Also the decoration set a great atmosphere - perfect for a great kid-free evening with good friends. Hope to come back next year!

Kayla was a wonderful waitress. We were a group of 6 and Kayla checked in on us multiple times. She was timely in bringing our food and drinks. We had friendly service and an amazing time out. We had such a great time we didn’t even know our time was up in the igloo. There was a mini heater, blankets, WiFi speaker system, along with really cute decorations. It was great parent night out and we definitely would do it again.

Kayla did a great job during our visit to the Fontaine igloo experience. She was very helpful and attentive, and made our night out with friends even better than it would have otherwise been. If you're thinking about doing this, I definitely recommend it! It's decorated so adorably with blankets and a heater to help keep you warm on cool nights, and the hot chocolate is so good!

Classic hotel near the Plaza. Rooftop bar and restaurant, coffee shop, pool in the summer, and fitness center. 24 hour desk with a pantry and yes friends, alcohol for sale as well. The restaurant has great views and good food selection with a great list of cocktails. Within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shops. Service is good as well.

The Fontaine appears very nice and upscale in the lobby, and at a glance the rooms do as well. However, for the price, it's pretty mediocre overall. Nothing really special about the room but it looking a little nicer. Had the same little keurig they have in MotelsWe were told the bar would be closing early the night we stayed "for some reason" and the entire time we were there the staff were cold and seemed genuinely annoyed to have us there.When all was said and done I had chalked it up as learning experience that high end hotels like this just aren't worth it. Then I come to find that they also charged me for "self parking", when I was already charged for parking in the garage I parked in.All in all, the Fontaine is a rip off and I would caution everyone to stay away.

Me and my wife went there for out anniversary dinner and wow great and friendly service Kelsey greeted us promptly and was exceptionally good at making sure that our experience was a remarkable one we got an igloo and an inside booth both were fantastic the igloo was such a great experience definitely worth doing it the sunset into night time was the best time to be out the very clean and friendly atmosphere the food was just better and better we kept on ordering they definitely pay attention to what they are doing in and out of the kitchen

Beautifully lit. The igloos on the roof top are definitely the new trend. The food was seasoned so well. I ordered the hummus trio and the chicken quesadilla. You cannot go wrong with either. I enjoy visiting an establishment with unique drinks. I didn’t try them all but the White Winterland with Tequilla was so yummy as well as the snickerdoodle martini. The customer service is phenomenal and professional.
