What a fantastic store! I came here in December for some holiday shopping. They have a wonderful selection of locally made items andbig brands like Harlem Candle Co. and McBride Sisters Wine Company. I love the fact that they sell chilled beer from Vine Street Co. and their book selection is so unique! I’ll definitely return the next time I need a gift or to treat myself!

Great place for gift ideas, games, or bolstering your art or drink collection. Adjoined to a Made in KC space, this space features fantastic items from black artists and black owned businesses. The employee working behind the front desk was very friendly and helpful too. My wife and I got a couple of party games and there are some breathtaking books of art that I have my eyes on as well. The Made in KC side has lots of great local apparel, art, etc., but The Black Pantry is truly a gem and I hope they continue to grow.

Love checking out the Black Pantry. They have all great Kc local sold items. From wine to clothing to art to seasoning and spices they have it all. Cute Kc art and cups. If you're looking for nicer Kc memorabilia, check them out. Right next to made in Kc cafe!

This is inside Made in KC Cafe on 31st St. It's pretty clear, though, where the section is located. There's a lot of fun stuff to check out including clothes, food, personal care products, stickers, candles, etc. for both men and women. Black owned but not all made in Kansas City. Love this store!!

I bought a Heaven Scent Hand poured Soy wax Candle and it won’t stay lit it. I will not be purchasing anymore candles from this store

Over-priced gift shop, nice people though. I was told they had local honey (good for allergy sufferers) but it was from New Jersey.

Thank you Taj! For the hospitality and the great suggestions on gifts to bring back home to the family. I will definitely be coming back when I am in town. this establishment deserves 6 stars! can smell some of the candles soon as you walk in the door. filled with so many amazing black owned products! staff is super friendly and helpful! would highly recommend if you are in the Midtown area!

A home away from home! This store is packed with goodies that I will need to come back to see, to really dive into everything!!Hoodies, tees, books, Andre’s confections, jewelry, drinkware, artwork, holistic items, coasters, stickers, reusable bags, & plenty more!!They are located in the Martini Cornet Area and should not be overlook!!! Check out the vids and pics of some of my fantastic finds!!! Friendly & helpful customer service which is five stars by itself✨
