Swope health is supposed to be a tool help bridge the health disparity gap. Unfortunately they are only making it worse. I understand the shortage of physican and APRN. When I worked in the clinic if we had to cancel someone because the clinician called in, we would try to get them seen as soon as possible. This was not the case with Swope. To be fair one of their employees tried to assist but the attitude of the other employee was so nasty, hateful, and unprofessional. If I am experiencing this as a nurse case manager I can only imagine what others are experiencing. I have a chronic illness of Diabetes Type 2 and major depression disorder. Healthcare workers always try to blame the patient and say that it is them that is non adherent but in actually it is really that difficult to receive quality care. I will make an attempt to file a formal complaint. I will also file a complaint with the state and The joint commission (TJC).

The work done is here is strategic and blessed. Thank you Swope Health Hickman Mills and MLK. I have been down physically and mentally due to diabetes and a sinus infection. God sent me to 87th street and the intake receptionist nearest the door was soooo patient and thoughtful. I was then seen by a heartwarming patient tech named Ronyel, I believe, he listened and was professional and thorough. Then my Medical Doctor was swift and a genius Dr. Jacquelyn Bailey knew how to ask questions and make decisions that improve health outcomes and push patients to do better. Dr. Bailey and her team practice health CARE with empathy and intelligence. Thank you Swope Health. Really cool pharmacy on MLK.

Came on a walk in. Central said this place said they had a spot within 40 mins and another like an hour later. The people here are very low energy and act like they don't want to be bothered.

The appointment was quick and easy but getting the appointment set and actually getting ahold of someone in this office is almost impossible I haven't liked swope since moving out to KC they make it almost impossible to not cuss them out over the phone trying to enforce policies that don't exist and not having direct numbers to whichever clinic you see swope is not worth the hassle it is

This doctor truely got in the field of his profession to help the general public and it shows. He does care about his patients. Need more doctors like him in the medical field. It truely is a privilege to have a great doctor like himself in the heart of South Kansas city.
