0 stars rating. Advisory...do NOT purchase landscaping plants, shrubs, tree, shrubs, flowers, or garden plants from Sutherlands. They are NOT returnable if they go bad unless you pay the full retail price. If you want to return the plant if it by chance perishes, you'll need to deny the sale price at the register and pay full retail price. My experience.... this year I decided to try purchasing some azaleas from Sutherlands as I normally shop there, spending thousands of dollars. It is conveniently located about 1 mile from my home. Some of the azalea plants have done well, but a majority have died. Sutherlands advertises a 180-day return policy on their plants, flowers, trees, but today I went to return the azaleas and they denied the return, well within the 180-day return window. Keep in mind, this return was just $28+tax. They just lost another customer as they can't seem to do the right thing and support their loyal customer base. Will only shop there now if I'm desperate. Again, this advisory is to refrain from buying garden and landscaping plants from Sutherlands.

Been meaning to say some kind words about my wonderful, friendly local lumber yard.Store manager Russ, and hus right and left hand employees Ryan and Mark, are simply great!They recently came through for me as I needed to special order a couple of items for my home there in WaldoI hope and pray there store remains profitable and these kind folks stick around

I just went to the store today (10/28/2023) and arrived at 7:10. The store was closed with no note on door or explanation on why they be closed nearly an hour before their advertisers closing time (8:00pm).

The manager Russel Anderson is extremely helpful, as is his lawn & Garden mgr Marty H. !Don't EVEN ask for help from anyone else! These two gentlemen have been there FOREVER! Absolutely LOVE this place!!!!!

Absolute trash place to deliver to with a otr truck it’s in the middle of a busy street with all most 0 room to back into there dock. I had them unload me in the street and used a pallet Jack to bring the goods to the end of the trailer so they can grab them. The property next to the dock I guess got fed up with trucks haven to use their drive way to back into the dock so they put up concrete polls to prevent trucks from coming in and all so put up a no trucks sign. Nice receiving department they understand it’s a problem and was willing to work with me. Don’t come here unless your in a straight truck I could see local guys probably struggle with it to.

The employees here followed me from the caulk aisle where I was pricing different brands to the live flowers and trees that I was also pricing. I thought they were simply trying to be helpful at first, but I realized when I walked towards the front door that there were like 6 people staring at me. Still I don't know why, I never held an item more than to look and put it back on the shelf... They are very judgemental and incredibly rude. I guess if you are just¹ looking... They don't want you in the store. I will never go back there.

Every year, they have a plant sale. Great place to purchase these plants. This year they had large hanging Boston Ferns for $11! Great price!

I went in to find out about paint for a set of shelves I'm repainting. An employee named Ryan was remarkably helpful. He asked questions about my color scheme, listened as I told him about the advice I had already received. He took the time to show me the smaller containers of paint that will make my project easier. I can't waitbto get started.
