The stay has been incredible. Jonathan has been efficient and effective in terms of upkeep and providing improvements. Not to mention the community events he has hosted for us have been phenomenal and a great way to actually get to know our neighbors

We’ve been through some ups and downs in our five years here, but the current management is excellent. So supportive, inclusive, active in the community of residents, and responsive. We also love the space. I haven’t seen anything quite like our loft in KC, especially for the price.

Deleting and updating my old review based on new management. This is the best turn around I’ve ever seen an apartment make. The old management was horrific and there were a litany of ridiculous and flagrantly inappropriate issues under them. Jonathan came in a few months ango and I was hesitant to get too excited since history here has been bleak. But he has worked his tail off since day 1 - he heard and quickly rectified the issues I had and has remained responsive ever since. We have more community events. Stuff gets fixed. Bad staff is gone. He replies to his tenants, and works with us on what we need. The atmosphere here is way better and you can tell our entire community is happier. Everyone I interact with is grateful he took over. The units and location were always good; now the management is too. The maintenance team is great as well. Ethan is amazing - he was even here under the old management and was the only person here who really tried, and I could always tell Ethan was doing all he could with a bad situation and coworkers I can’t imagine having. He’s still as great as ever and he and his team are the sweetest folks and responsive as all get out.
I do find it ironic and interesting that when I called corporate last year, emailed two higher ups at corporate, the regional manager, and left my original 1 star scathing review, nobody reached out then and ghosted my calls, voicemails, and emails. I update it now and they reply with a day. The apartment is great and our manager and staff are killing it but I’m mildly wary of corporate still.

I highly recommend Emery Lofts to anyone looking for a new home! The property is nice and i’ve had great experiences with Riana, the property manager and Ethan and Tj from the maintenance team.

Don’t waste your time here. I scheduled an in person tour, confirmed my appointment, drove an hour to come see the place, and there was no absolutely one at the leasing office. I called repeatedly to all three buildings, emailed, and texted, and got radio silence. I was standing outside the building for 30 minutes. No one ever reached out to me to reschedule, explain the mistake, or to make things right. The tour was scheduled for an early Friday afternoon so I’m assuming every employee just didn’t care and took off for the day. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Emery Lofts was a ‘cheap’ Crossroads solution and I moved in with low expectations. However, it just gets worse and worse over time. Countless leaks without anyone ever actually entering my apartment to remediate or check that it was resolved (I was texted ‘water should stop soon’ and never heard back again on one of the occasions where my washing machine drain had filthy water pouring out of it.) I’ve been locked out of the building multiple times due to malfunctioning doors and I was told to wait until the office opens, which is maybe every other week or so when they randomly show up. Nothing is energy efficient, so you’re paying just as much as the luxury new options just a block South. Save your time, money, and personal property.

Horrible experience living at the emery lofts. Management non existent, many issues would go unaddressed, homeless people constantly in the building and the walls were paper thin. Stairwells were always filled with garbage and the elevators are constantly broken. Would not recommend living here!

My time living in this location was initially positive under the previous management. However, since the new leadership took over, I've experienced nothing but problems. The current management team is terrible at communicating, they make constant changes, and there's a new employee every week, causing endless frustration. Despite reporting a broken AC unit during the hottest months of July and August, they failed to assist me and my family, and we were forced to leave the apartment. On top of that, my living room has suffered from four or five ceiling leaks that have caused damage to my furniture. I strongly advise against choosing this location and suggest you spend your money elsewhere. The people in charge live in a different state, and they seem to care little about their tenants or the community. In summary, my living experience here has been the absolute worst, thanks to the current management's negligence. They even killed my plants! All in all, I could have had a much better experience, but instead, I've been completely disappointed.

We were visiting family in KC and while looking around we found these beautiful apartments! Emily was amazing and helpful and I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment to contact her!
