Initial contact with Autumn today to reserve a spot for our camper. Very friendly and helpful with all my questions. No comment on the lot yet as we've not actually stored the camper at this point. But very happy with their service so far.

The five stars are for the employees, specifically Dan. Very helpful. I would rate lower for other things but I don't want that to reflect poorly on the employees who are doing a great job.For one, when price increases happen there's no formal email for it. You have to open the invoice email for the previous month, download it, view it, and then it shows the price increase but it dosnt actually specifically say the price is increasing the next month or why, it just shows the unit number and the new price. I got a $40 price increase without actually knowing since it was pretty hidden. It's something that should have its own formal email, just like how they sent an email saying cash would no longer be accepted as payment.The climate control wasn't necessarily how I thought it would be, it was still pretty warm inside the building. However, it's been VERY hot outside lately, so I get it. Not really something that can be easily controlled or the fault of the employees, just something I noticed.Again, A+ for the employees. They're very nice and helpful and understanding of if you are having any issues, and will do what they can to make things right and easier for you. I really appreciated their help for the few issues I had

Dan does a great job of keeping an eye out on the vehicles stored at this StorageMart. He noticed that our trailer was gone and actually called to make sure we were traveling with it. We were, and we appreciated his attention to detail.

Autumn was very pleasant and helpful getting us the storage unit we needed and explained everything cleary.Lisa was very nice and helpful showing me where our unit is and how to access it. This Storage Mart is exceptionally clean and both Dan and Lisa were very helpful in getting us squared away. Lisa was especially kind to our toddler! She made going to find our new unit an adventure. We feel like our things are secure and that we will get great customer service when we need it.

Secure, Clean, and Updated. Everything a storage facility should be!While I am no longer in need of a storage unit, the Wyandotte St. Team at Storage Mart was great to work with. Dan was extremely helpful, and I never felt worried about anything not being there once I got back!Thank you, Dan!

Andre was super helpful and was Dan and Lisa from storage Mart on 135th and Wyandotte or fabulous. Answered every question I had as well as for able to teach me how to use their maps.

My boyfriend does the flooring in storage march across the US. So I get to travel with him and I've seen a lot of storage marks this store was the cleanest inside and out that I have ever seen. Miss Lisa, with her strict ABSOLUTELY NO TRASH policy, and her sidekick Mr Dan AKA Mr don't mess with the thermostats,+ "be sure to SHUT THOSE OUTSIDE DOORS it has to be a certain temp controlled buildings"-together they run a pretty tight ship with the biggest parking lotS for ANY parking need-+YES, they vacuum all of their floors! And they're building smell good too when you walk in. I definitely recommend this is establishment for all of your storage needs., ?????

The Storage Mart @ 14151 Wyandotte St, KCMO, is the best storage facility in the greater KC area. Dan assisted us today when we rented an additional storage area. DON'T RENT HERE!! I'd give it zero stars if possible. My first unit was a regular unit, but my things got so filthy I had to clean everything each time I used the things in it. Many spiders, cobwebs, bugs, and DIRT. Because of that, I moved to a climate-controlled unit. It was better as far as the dirt, but it had mice and ruined a chair that I probably shouldn't have stored there. In the Spring of 2022, we had excessive rains and my unit leaked. I noticed in May that my shelving unit had rusted and there was a hole in the ceiling right over it. See pictures. Boxes got wet and rugs got mold, so I just threw the damaged items away. I went to the office to tell them about the leak and spoke with Lincoln. She was very nice, apologized for the leak and got me moved into a dry unit at the end of the building. Same size, same rate (at least for one month my rate stayed the same). I just had the hassle of moving everything to the dry unit. The next month my rent went from $83.99 to $133.99. I was out of town dealing with a family emergency, unable to get back to KC. and my credit card was stolen. Instead of them notifying me that the credit card did not go through they slapped me with late fees and put a lock on my unit. I had been renting there since June 10, 2020 and was on auto pay. I never missed a payment. You would think I could have gotten a courtesy phone call. The old manager, Kimberly Kennedy would have absolutely done that. She was an extremely good manager who focused on customer service. I went in to talk to the 'new' manager Dan to tell him that Lincoln assured me that I would stay at the same rate. I spoke to one of the rudest people I have ever worked with. Mind you, he wasn't even there in May, but he said...'we have no evidence that there was ever a leak', and this is your new rate for your 'new' unit. I wasn't even filing a claim with them about the damage and can't imagine what that would have been like.I told him I wanted to speak to his regional manager, "Ben" and it was like speaking to his twin. 'We have no evidence there was a leak and we don't notify you if payment doesn't go through. I don't like being called a liar, especially by 2 men (one who wasn't even employed there at the time) and the other who never saw my unit, or the damage. I am posting pictures of the hole in the ceiling where the water came in and down the corner of a silver shelving unit that was under the leak.I am finally back in town to get my things moved out...but I still didn't escape another rate increase... 10 months after the last increase, to $208.99. That is my last and final payment EVER to Storage Mart. I cannot do business with a company like this.Bottom line...if you like bugs, dirt, mice, and water in your unit...if you like ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, rate increases and extra fees tacked on to your monthly, and if you like being called a liar, well, this is the storage place for you!

Dan is great to work with. He’s been very helpful and keeps a good eye on the place. The storage units are kept clean and are well maintained.
