I recently booked a haircut appointment for my dad at Sport Clips after a disappointing experience at Great Clips. We were waiting at Great Clips for 5 to 20 minutes and found the staff there to be quite rude. Sport Clips had always treated us well in the past, so we decided to give them another try.
When we arrived at Sport Clips, I spoke with Courtney about the services and pricing. She suggested that we opt for a lower-priced package, assuring me that it included everything we needed, including hair washing, a face towel, and a massage. I informed my father of this, and despite his initial hesitation due to concerns about additional costs, I reassured him it was all included in the price.
Unfortunately, our experience with Courtney was disappointing. She did not offer my father the hair washing or any of the additional services that were supposed to be included in the package. When I called Courtney to discuss this, she apologized and claimed that my father had declined these services, which was not the case. I asked to speak to the manager, but they were on vacation at the time.
A week later, I called back and spoke with the manager, who acknowledged receiving my message but chose not to return my call. This lack of response and poor management is concerning. I am seriously considering reaching out to the Better Business Bureau to address this issue.
Sport Clips needs urgent management intervention. The way Courtney handled the situation and the lack of proper follow-up from the manager are unacceptable. We expected better service based on our past experiences, but this visit was highly disappointing.

Walked in at 4:30 pm and no one was waiting to get a haircut but they were booked for the day. She said sorry maybe tomorrow. Ridiculous, lost a customer

If you work, travel a lot or have little time to get a haircut. It's a really bad idea to come here. They book up really early in the day & you won't know that until after you've made the effort to come here. Never again for me.

This is by far the best location. Natasha is my go-to because she is always gives consistent great haircuts and fun to converse with. However, any one of the stylists that I have dealt with at this location have done a good job.

Haircut was fine. However, if it's not just clippers and scissors are used, it increases the price to a salon level cut.

If you own this store these ladies are ripping you off. I’ve been here an hour and they’ve finished 1 haircut between the three of them. Got a timer running and they are taking over 20 minutes between haircuts just hanging out with absolutely no concerns that the waiting room is full. There is a lady training right now explaining to the trainee that it happens all the time and the customers are stupid for following the app. This place has been open for less than three hours and they are already over an hour behind.

Every time I show up at the suggested time after checking in online, I wait at least another 30 minutes to an hour. They are very understaffed here. Plan to wait a long time when you get there.

All of my visit have been spectacularly great! Unfortunately I cannot say the same for other places I have visited. And I never make an appointment, which are offered, I just show up on a whim and they work me in. Several person working there have provided me excellent service. And the shop is spotlessly clean.

If you love the used-car dealership experience and want to pay $40 for a 15 minute clipper cut, SportClips is your spot. Sales tactics won't milk a shampoo and VIP purchase out of me. I have a shower and 5 bottles of shampoo at home and I just want my hair cut. 'No' means 'no'.

I had a fantastic experience at the Sports Clips Boardwalk location with Shelby as my hairstylist. Shelby's skills are top-notch, and she consistently delivers excellent results. She pays great attention to detail, ensuring that my haircut is always on point. Not only is she a skilled professional, but she also brings a fun and friendly vibe to the salon.
Shelby's ability to strike a balance between professionalism and a relaxed atmosphere is truly commendable. Her passion for her work shines through, and it's evident that she takes pride in what she does. I always leave the salon feeling refreshed and satisfied with my haircut. Shelby, at the Sports Clips Boardwalk location, is a true gem, and I highly recommend her to anyone in search of a great haircut and an enjoyable time.

Went in for a haircut, I get a buzz and have them clean up over the ears and off the neck. I'm ready to go in 5 minutes and it cost me$23 and I left a $5 tip...$28 hair cut it was NOT... my fault, didn't ask prices before hand. I won't be going back either. It turned out ok, no complaint on the job.

i went in to see Ruby? Rudy? Doesn’t matter, but the look of disappointment on my face when she made me look like i cut by a weed wacker. i asked for a LOW FADE, didn’t even mention the top because it was fine. not only did i receive a high fade? (i think). but she pretty much buzzed my head. why you ask? no idea! i stopped going to this location for a reason but needed a emergency haircut. safe to say i won’t be back ever. i could literally write a book about how mad and disappointed i am in adults that can’t follow SIMPLE INSTRUCTION! but i have to prepare for all the harassment at work that i will receive because of some lady who doesn’t know how to open her ears. if you want a bad haircut, then i’d give a 5 star review. if you want a good one, i would give it zero stars if i could.
